I have a cat and dog that shed like crazy and it seems it picks up the hair from the carpet pretty well. I love that the cord recoils back into the vacuum rather than having to wrap it around.

I purchased the Bissell Cleanview Swivel vacuum, and I have been thrilled with it. I hadn't realized how much dirt and hair the old vacuum had left behind. In just one use I noticed a remarkable difference in how clean my carpets and rugs were. I love the swivel design to maneuver around furniture and the ability to see all the dirt and debris gathered in the tank. I also love how closely I can get along the baseboard with the brush head. I'm looking forward to many good years with this vacuum.

Home use. On carpet, vinyl, and stairs. I love its ease of use. And the long cord and swivel action makes more areas accessible without having to unplug and move as frequently. I am actually enjoying vacuuming again.
