[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had vacuum for 3 weeks but it's worked very well so far. We have 2 older bisells (both same) for over 20 years and one is still working great. We've just thrown out the other and I kept some of it for parts to help extend the other. Like the swivel capability, the retractable cord, the mini brush attachment which actually rotates pretty well. Works great on our carpeted stairs (light weight), bare ceramic tile floors and of course carpets. Easy to clean. We have a dog and cat and like our other bisells this thing really gets tgevoer hair up. Nice job bisell !!!

I clean houses for a living but use the customers vacuum, mine is too precious to take out, although it could handle the jobs, I value it too much. Had my Kirby for 20 years and hated to part with it but this Bissell beats it in every way. Wis I had not waited so long

I have gone thru a least 4 other vacuum cleaners before I bought my Bissell. I wish I had found this vacuum sooner. I could have saved a ton of money. My fault for not doing my research a little better I highly recommend this vacuum. It is fantastic !!!.

Do like the ease of emptying the canister, and the cord rewind is a convenient feature. For the dollar spent it is a great value, and the best vacuum in its class for ease of use and price. I would recommend since tested and researched several before I purchased.

I have been searching for a good vacuum for 2-3 years now that efficiently cleaned the carpets and hard wood floors of our home. We live in a row home in Baltimore city with a 3 yo chocolate lab so while there is a lot of space compared to an NYC studio, it's still small space living and requires small space solutions. I started with a Dyson and I will never buy again because it was absolutely useless and picked up the bare minimum, I then borrowed my mom's Rainbow which I loved but just wasn't practical for a smaller home with all of the pieces and parts. I then looked at this Bissel model at the recommendation of a Canadian based cleaning company I follow on Instagram and decided to give it a try. While the vacuum itself is on the larger side, there are multiple features that make it small home friendly. The fact that you can go from carpet to hard flooring without switching out attachments or hoses is a huge bonus. This means I can clean the pet hair stuck to the carpet as well as the tumble weeds floating around the hard floors in one easy sweep. The chord rewind makes for compact and neat storage. I don't have a chord to wind up that ends up all over the floor anyway. It's not super heavy (for me) especially compared to the rainbow which also included a water tank. I have used this vacuum just once and I'm already in love. The attachments are well thought out especially for a tiny/quirky shaped home that are effective and actually make the house pet hair free. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone, pet or not especially at the price. A rainbow can easily run a $1,000 and my dyson was over $300. Just goes to show that cost doesn't always equate to effectiveness.
