DO NOT BUY FOR PET HAIR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this vacuum and used it for a month and the belt broke. After taking the vacuum apart I realized they have terrible design issues where pet hair can get into the belt compartment. Online support sent me another belt but told me this is a maintenance issue and that I need to clean the belt. Don't buy this vacuum unless you want to take it apart after every 2-3 uses and clean out the belt compartment. I only have one dog and this vacuum can't do it's job without self destructing. Wish I could return it but it didn't break until after the 30-day window.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Bissell model because I had previously owned a Bissell Pet vacuum which I gave to my son. I purchased another brand of vacuum which was horrible. I wanted the Bissell brand because they make a great quality product. This vacuum is excellent! It gets all the dirt and hair, the swivel design makes it easy to get around furniture. The rewind cord feature is so much easier to use than to keep winding up the cord after every use. The hose stays in place (a big issue with my other vacuum, the hose kept coming loose from the base) and the attachments are easy to use. I would definitely buy another Bissell and HIGHLY recommend this vacuum.
