The three humans we have here shed enough hair to make up for a rather large dog. The first run through the house pulled an impressive amount of material out. It's older carpet too and generally not very soft. I like quite like the retractable cord, but do worry about how long that will last. Different color options would be nice. Assembly was fast and easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am sooooooooooo happy that I finally decided to pull the trigger and order this vacuum! I cannot believe the amount of pet hair it picks up! I thought my old vacuum (the brand rhymes with "dark") was good, but I was shocked at how much better the Bissell is! Love the rotating head, love the adjustment knob for carpet depth, love the automatic cord rewind, loved that it was SO easy to put together. I love love love it, in general. Thanks, Bissell! And the fact that Bissell contributes to pet causes is 5-star alone in my book!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I luv my new Pet Bissell vacuum...it picked up so much pet hair n dirt from my rugs...filled the huge canister...yu never saw on rugs w my eye...always looked clean...remarkable...hair didn't clog the brushes on this machine either- like my regular vacuum did...luv it so far . ...a big relief to my pet vacuuming...

A fight to clean up quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received it yesterday. Exhausting to use. It's a fight with ext too short...fight with the stretch hose & carpet spinner can not turn off! Threw the box out already, I was confident because I own another bissel product for non pet clean up and love it. My last pet vacuum was much better...this producy had great reviews!.
