Great vacuum for picking up hair

We are loving this new vacuum. The swivel feature was new for us and we adapted very quickly. Using that has made it easier to vacuum around the coffee table and under chairs. This vacuum does a fantastic job picking up pet hair and human hair. We have used the attachments numerous times so far with no issues. Also, emptying the bin is very easy with the push of a button. We would buy another bissell. #sweepstakes

We have hardwood and many area rugs. It works so well on all surfaces. I can not believe how clean everything looked after usung it, my old vacuum definitely was not working.

I have four dogs and four cats ... they all spreads fibers of joy daily and I have to vacuum daily. The cord is plenty long to reach all points in a room. The dirt cup empties without leaving dirt all over the floor. It's heavy enough to clean well and light enough my back doesn't hurt. #sweepstakes

It just hasn't impressed me. It's lightweight, which can be perceived as a convenience, but ultimately feels lightweight, as in cheaply made. And I'm just bumfuzzled over a power cord that exits on the bottom right. That's the hand a majority of people drive their machines with. So ... maneuvering the cord while moving around and vacuuming is very awkward. To me, that's a big design flaw. All said, it works and has been performing for over a month. I just expected more from Bissell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
