[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two cats and they are constantly leaving clumps of hair on the carpet. This vacuum sucks up the hair in one swipe and really gets down in the carpet. I really like the big canister as well. Would definitely buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using a vacuum that I thought was doing a good job (it should have been given the cost) but I quickly realized it was not when I got my new Powergroom. I am embarrassed to say how many times I had to empty it and that it was filled primarily with dog hair that must have been imbedded in the carpet that my other vacuum was not removing. I have a dog that I brush daily and get groomed regularly but he's a long haired Shepherd so I need a vacuum that's a powerhouse and so far I am impressed by the power and the price.

Love my vacuum

This is my second Clear View. I have to tell my Kirby story. A Kirby salesman came by and said he would vacuum one room to demonstrate their vacuums. I had 1980 carpet and this was early 2000. I said I just finished vacuuming. He said that was great as I will show you what your vacuum leaves behind. Well let me say even be was shocked. The round filter he used in the Kirby had only a few specks. That was my first Bissell and it was the black basic Clear View. I am on my second Clear View only because my new one has auto cord rewind. It does get slow rewinding but that's okay. Sadly I lent my black one to a friend and she gave it away. So mad because I said when your done I would like it back. Wish I had it as my new one has a broken wheel. I have two boys and a husband who are rough on everything. I could see sand and other dirt bounce in front of my vacuum. My son bought me a new vacuum but it is a Shark. Let me say I will be getting a Bissell again soon. Didn't want to hurt his feelings. I did say I wanted a Bissell. Even the basic design fit well in my closet. Oh I miss my vacuum as I used it on my hard floors after removing carpet. The carpet in bedrooms does not look as good since my Bissell broke , which means replacement cost. I used to get complements on my old 1980 carpet not anymore. Test inconspicuous area of hard floors first. Though a wheel broke on mine they are very well made and last. I assume they bounced it harder than necessary and we had a fish tank leak so bad to replace carpet. Thought I would mention that as the carpet still looked great.

I am sick and tired of buying a product only to have it break down right after the warranty - bought a Polaris Robotic Pool cleaner for over $1000 - piece of junk! Bissell makes a good product - I will always buy a Bissell Vac!!! I think we bought this model. Just great!
