I'm impressed with the suction force of the Bissell Cleanview. My old vacuum was 12 amps, so I wasn't sure I would like an 8 amp machine, but it thoroughly cleans my carpet. I also like the easy-to-open dirt tank. Love the rewind feature but wish the cord was on the left.

I emptied the canister 3 times on one 8 x 10 high pile rug - probably most of 2 years worth of cat hair that wasn't being picked up by our old vacuum. The hand tools are awesome. Love the retractable cord! So far, this thing is awesome!
