[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using a roomba but after three years it has stopped working. I found this one and liked the features and it had other great reviews. It works amazingly! Picks up so much! And the easy turn and auto cord rewind is awesome! So nice not to deal with winding and unwinding a cord! I have two cats that shed and it picks up all their hair with ease. The canister is very easy to empty too. I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had a Bissel clean pet previously for about 7 years, and I thought it was great! so when that died, I decided to go back to Bissel. I ended up choosing the 2256 CleanView and I love it! it was only a week of no vacuum and me getting my new one. I was a little disgusted at how full my new vacuum was! It is much quieter than previous models and I like that I don't have to worry about wrapping a cord around it. I do wish that I could turn off the rollers when I am using the wand/hose like previous models.

I use the vacuum for hardwood floors, tile, linoleum, and carpet. This is my second Bissell. My first still works after many years so I stayed with this brand. Afrer a few uses, the suction is great. I checked reviews because I wanted a vacuum that doesn't sling debris during use; this vaccuum seems to be delivering. I like that it is lightwight, swivels, is easy to clean, and has a retractable cord. The only negative for me so far is hose length. Maybe it will stretch some over time, but it does topple the vaccuum (due to lightweightness) when you tug at the hose during use. My previous vacuum held up very well except the hose which eventually shredded so I am hopeful this hose will hold up for the long haul. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

The attachments are secured on the vacuum cleaner, which is so convenient. The vacuum cleaner is heavy to carry and to use to, even on the lowest setting. It is even heavy to push it.

The cord rewind is so great, and this vacuum is SO powerful. The swivel is really good, and you can adjust for the height of your carpet. The tools that come with this are helpful as well. Very happy with this vacuum. I think my only negative is the high pitch sound but I would rather have that then dog hair left behind.
