I got this vacuum after reading lots of reviews. I loved it at first because I had never had a swivel vacuum. I still love that about this product. But, after the third use, it started having a really high squeal--- so bad that my daughter never wanted to use it, and I literally would use earplugs. I would have returned it if it had happened right away. As it was, I decided to just keep it and hope that it would improve. It didn't, and now 11 months into use, while I was using the attachment to vacuum under my bed, it started smoking and smelled awful. Maybe I just got a defective one, but I am really sad to say that I wouldn't recommend this vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We vacuumed both bedrooms that were carpeted and were disgusted we were living in such filth, lol. We then moved on tonour hardwood floors. It worked wonders there and the fact that it swiveled made it even better.

I LOVE this vacuum! It's so lightweight & very easy to maneuver around furniture! It does a great job picking up hair, dirt, lint, etc. Plus its super easy to empty. And the retractable cord is a game changer! It doesn't seem like a huge perk but i love it! It allows me to only pull out how much i need at the time and put it away in no time with just a push of a button. Highly recommend this!
