It has performed so well and has picked up debris from my carpet and floors that my previous unit left behind. I have been using a Bissell for the past 15 years (which has finally gotten tired) and wanted to remain with Bissell. The unit is very lightweight and easy to maneuver and very quiet. I would strongly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am raising an American Akita/German Shepherd puppy. Although he is short-haired, he sheds a lot. He's also high energy and rambunctious. He runs around all over the house, so dog hair gets everywhere. After much research on vacuum cleaners for pet hairs, I decided to purchase Bissel's CleanView Swivel Rewind & Pet Hair Remover plus the hand vac because of the great reviews. I am glad I made this purchase because both upright and hand vac are powerful, picking up dirt, debris, lint, and dog hair immediately. The ease of cord rewind feature is wonderful. No need to empty any bags because with just a release of a button, you can easily empty the canister. The upright vacuum is also light weight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
