Good Multi use Container

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review of the 1.1 quart Good Grips POP container.
It is a quality container. Made of high quality plastic and the pop lid is surprisingly airtight.
I plan to use this container mainly as a small to medium for pantry items, ie, pasta, flour, sugar etc.
Unbeknownst to me, this container is specifically made for storage of 1 pound packages of brown sugar. On the underside of the lid is a terra cotta disc, that you soak in water first, then after pouring in the brown sugar, you put on the lid. The moisture from the wet disc is absorbed by the brown sugar, thus keeping the sugar soft and scoopable.
With the addition of the POP lid feature, the near airtight seal created by the lid, makes this container quite a unique item.
You'll always have fresh and bug free brown sugar, you can store in your pantry or countertop, in a good looking container!

A well built and attractive container!

I received this and the 1.1 qt container at the same time.
The POP lid feature on these containers work surprisingly well. The only way to remove the lid is with the plunger top in the up position and with it in the down position, it creates a near airtight seal and makes the lid difficult to remove.
The 1.7 qt. Rectangle container is actually made for storage of one pound packages of coffee beans or grounds. It comes with a small 2 Tablespoon scoop for the beans/grounds.
While I don't drink coffee, I'll use this container for sugar, flour, pasta and other pantry items.
All parts are upper rack, dishwasher safe.

Air tight freshness!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this with the sole intent of keeping coffee beans fresh, but it's honestly taken a turn for the baked goods! I've been placing fully cooled muffins and cupcakes (unfrosted) inside and they have stayed perfectly fresh and mold-free for days. I love the flexibility of use for these POP containers, way to go, OXO!

Great product but not packaged well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item itself is great but it was packaged poorly so the ceramic disc meant to be held at the came came broken. The plastic prongs meant to hold it in place attached to the top insert cannot connect. Otherwise, it's a great container and matches the rest of my set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cabinet space saver!

I have somewhat limited cabinet space, so I appreciate that they save space and keep things organized. I love that they're stackable. They also hold up well in the dishwasher. A must-have for any kitchen!

Perfect space-saver for smaller quantities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rather than have a ton of irregularly shaped pantry item containers (baking sodas, spices, etc), I prefer to use these Minis so that I can stack and organize everything on hand. They really do make a difference when it comes to saving valuable cabinet space. Highly recommended.

Coffee has never been fresher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wondered why our coffee was going stale so quick... and bought these hoping it would keep things fresher. It worked! The sealing pop top keeps everything so fresh and it smells like a new bag of coffee when you take the lid off. And the little scoop is so helpful to measure. Highly recommend!

I use it for brown sugar, and it stays nice and fresh, thanks in part to the disc that gets soaked in water, but also the fact that these stay air tight until you release the lid, unlike many containers in the past. I’m loving this container!
