I would purchase a bag of flour, place it in my cabinet...kerplunk... and flour dust would get all over everything. Then the OXO Good Grips POP Container - Big Square Medium (4.4 Qt) came into my life...problem solved. Not only does this air tight, dish washer safe wonder hold a whole 5 lbs bag of flour, but it looks beautiful doing it! The airtight seal is easily engaged by clicking the push button down. Push it up, it doubles as a handle. My flour stays fresh! The design is brilliant, offering a sturdy, very useful product! I have another POP container for brown sugar and together they stack up perfectly, improving upon my cabinet storage, opening up more space! My favorite part is the scoop accessory that attaches to the underside of the lid. A durable scoop, combined with a perfect sized opening makes it so easy to scoop out measured amounts for recipes. Loving OXO POP containers! I will be buying more sizes to produce more cabinet space, keep my other go to baking ingredients fresh and to have a beautiful looking organized pantry! One suggestion I have for OXO. There have been several flour recalls recently. When you throw away the flour bag, you lose the information of the "best used by date" and UPC/lot codes. It would be great to add something like a dry erase/chalk option or removable adhesives so you can write that information somewhere on the container. P.S You can use this container for a lot of other things besides flour, but I use it for flour!

Perfect fit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dry, hard crumbled brown sugar. This is what would appear when I pulled my zip lock bag out of my pantry. I needed a meat tenderizer just to add brown sugar to a recipe. Then I started using the OXO Good Grips POP Container - Rectangle Short (1.7 Qt). First off, a 2 lb bag of brown sugar fits perfectly! No overflow, no worries about the top not fitting. The air tight lid easily opens and closes with the clicking of the push button. Hard as a rock brown sugar is no longer an issue for me. Not to mention, I love the accessory scoop that stores easily on the underside of the lid!!! It's so cute and makes measuring the perfect amount simple. I also have the larger OXO POP container that I use for flour. I love how these two containers fit together to give me more space in my cabinet. They also look so sleek and organized. I'm going to be buying more OXO POP containers for my oatmeal, coffee beans, split peas and pasta. I just love how they look and how they keep my go to cooking ingredients fresh with an air tight seal! Dish washer safe and BPA-free durable construction, these containers are a winner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this container. Perfect for my coffee, fits perfectly beside my coffee maker. The measuring scoop stays attached to the inside of the lid and you don’t have to dig to find it!
Also love that it’s dishwasher safe....can’t wait to add to my collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just when I thought oxo pop containers couldn't get any better, they come with a scooper!! Something I always struggle with is finding a scoop for my items especially with my toddler always taking them from the drawers to play. The lid comes with a nub that holds the scoop making extremely convenient. Plus the container makes it easy for me to see what's inside! I love it!

This was my first time using a POP container and I am pleasantly surprised with the design and ease of use. Easy to wash, assemble and use for a variety of products. I am going to use it to store brown sugar as the scoop will come in very handy.
