[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I struggle to figure out the exact best grind level for taste while not creating a mess within the machine. Cleaning the brew device appears simple in the video, but I have coffee grounds in a bunch of places and I’m not sure if that is user error from too fine a grind, or some issue inherent in the device. The flavor is generally good. I keep up with my filter changes (expensive as we have hard water so have to change more frequently). We had a similar machine years ago that lasted 10+ years, so we are hopeful this one will last as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a while before the buttons and I came to a common understanding. But now we work fine together! I am so, so about the machine. I love the slender profile, but believe the coffee isn’t as good tasting as my previous Safeco machine. The steamer kicks off prior to reaching 160 degrees. The good news is I don’t over heat the milk, but I do like it hot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips machine has cleared the collection of coffee mill, stand alone Mokamaster brewer, a scale to weigh out the beans, storage container for the beans, etc. (you get the idea) with an impressive but not too massive machine. I have not ventured into use of the milk frother, as I am a "drink it black" person; but my spouse proclaims a desire for a latté so I will venture out to the realms of milk frothing. Cleaning the brew mechanism is actually quite easy, aided by the on-line video instructions from Philips; the manual is a bit sparse in this area, but the video instilled knowledge and comfort in performance. I will definitely utilize the video on line guides when it is time to apply the dab of grease, which I believe is to be done every 2 or 3 months. The printed guide instructions were far from clear, so the product videos from Philips will be of utility. I have liked this machine so much, I am tempted to investigate the higher end machines either in the Philips line or the premium Saeco products.

It’s easy to adjust the coffee strength & volume.
Cleaning regularity is necessary & easy to do. There are instructional videos on YouTube if you need help.
