When I use the bottom washer, the top washer gets a layer of water that won't drain. I have to run the top water by itself to remove the water. I also find it hard to load the dishes efficiently with the rack layout. I had a different two-drawer brand at our old house and I liked it a lot better than this.

I had a FP double drawer dishwasher for almost 16 years and while it had some quirks, it was generally great. Just replaced it with this new model (barely 3 months old) and have nothing but trouble - the electronics are junk. The service tech says he's been seeing a lot problems with the electronics ever since the company was bought out. In a way I'm "lucky" because everything is still under warranty, (he has stories about customers where the controls went bad just after the warranty expired), but I've just scheduled my 4th service call - hoping that replacing the master control panel might solve the problem.

Love these double dishwashers! I use the top one the most but find the bottom unit so useful. My only negative is it is a bit smaller than the top unit and my dinner plates won't fit straight up. Love the quality, the quiet and uniqueness of a smaller dishwasher for everyday use. It's only my husband and I so probably not suitable for a larger family.

We find the interior layout of rack tines could be improved. Very tightly spaced and not a lot of flexibility to fold down tines for large platters etc.

We started with F&P twenty years ago with a washer and dryer that were the BEST we’ve ever had. When we were redoing our kitchen, we decided to buy these dish drawers because I’ve been eyeing them for a long time. Love them! I am still learning the best way to load them, but they are a pleasure to use; very quiet to run! We also have an F&P refrigerator which we love too! Very happy!
