Proud owner of this very neat bag. There's almost too many pockets. I wish the USB port for external charging was USB C as that's what came with my phone and my Portable charger, but that's the most of my worries. Im impressed and I'm happy.

I like the clamshell opening compartment. It allows this bag to be used for travel and it can store a lot! The side pockets are great to hold water bottles and a smaller "tech travel" bag. That saves space for the interior. The pockets are fantastic and offer a lot of options to personalize. This has been the best SWISSGEAR bag I've had in terms of organization. It is a larger bag than I had expected, but it's worth it. It still fits under the plane seat.
The only issue I've had was that the wire on the handle came out and broke. SWISSGEAR Customer service was able to assist me quickly with processing an exchange. Great customer service and very much appreciated!

This bag was great to organize everything for a trip. Unfortunately, one of the cable for reinforce the upper handle came unfastened. Unknowingly, it scratched my arm. It looked like I tried to bathe a feral cat.

Good back overall but issue

Like the back overall. Spacious and holds plenty for someone who packs for the day each day. Top handle cord pulled out within a couple weeks and I tend to pick up and carry backpacks by the top handle often. Have cut my hand with it already and have transitioned back to other backpack so something to watch for. I look for bags with a cooler side pocket so was hoping it would work but if you want a spacious bag with many compartments and insulated pocket, worth a try.

2 reasons for 4 star review:
Reason 1:
If I have both zippers of any of the larger pockets zipped closed at the top of the pockets, the weight of whatever I have packed will pull the zippers completely open. In my case, in the pocket that has the key clip on it, I had a small pouch with some tools in it (precision screwdriver bits, couple socket adapters, about 5-7 lbs I'd guess), and in the main compartment I had my nintendo switch and a meta quest. My guess is the weight of the items in the pouch being so far out produced enough leverage that the zippers were both pulled pretty wide open. I've never had this issue with my Ogio RSS Renegade bag, and I've had that for about 10 years. Luckily nothing was damaged, lost, or stolen, but I didn't even know that the pocket was wide open like it was until I got to my car. I don't like advertising what Im walking around with, hence putting it all in a bag. It would have been super easy for someone to see those items and take the opportunity to snatch and run.
Reason 2:
The hard pocket for the headset, first time I opened it some material from inside that pocket got snagged in the zipper. The material looked like it had already been frayed, as in, I'm pretty sure opening the pocket for the first time couldn't have caused it. I trimmed back the frayed bits and the zipper is obviously fine, and the pocket doesn't look like the fraying will get any worse. Might have been a quality control mistake. Meh, it happens.
Other than that, still a great bag. Holds a ton of stuff. Comfy weight distribution.
