Versatile, not just for gamers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this product in exchange for my unbiased review. I am not a big gamer, and neither is my husband. We don't have gaming laptops, but I have my switch and he has his Xbox consoles. When we travel we don't usually bring them. That said, this thing can hold anything you want. It's definitely designed and labeled for someone who games, but we were able to use this bag as a small carry on that fit items for both of us: 6 outfits, a pair of shoes, a 40oz water bottle, three books, a laptop, the switch console, hygiene for both of us, and our chargers for phones and electronics. It looked slightly bigger than a regular backpack on my husband ( it looked giant on my 5'0 body). We're going to Italy this summer and will be using this as our main carry on. Love this backpack!

Great bag for the everyday workaholic

It's an essential item for me as I work long hours ranging from 12 to 16 hours, and have multiple needs that require its use. I need it to carry my laptop, external hard drives, water bottle, numerous computer cords, as well as office essentials such as pens, extra notebooks, and other random items. It's also convenient for travel purposes. This bag is not only great for work, but it's also an ideal choice for a weekend bag that is easy to carry around, even at the airport.

Great Concept - Poor Durability

I have been using this backpack for 6 weeks or so. I use it 1-4 times a week as a mobile DJ doing weddings and smaller private events. I have had 2 macbook pros, two iPads, a small 2TB external hard drive, DJ headphones, and batteries in it. No more - no less. The first complaint is the pocket on the front that has the black swissgear logo (at the top). That pocket closes but does not open because the zipper is getting stuck on the material inside the pocket. I have to put my hand into the side of the pocket that does open and push on the material, because it is a hard shell, to create space for the zipper to open. It is damaging the material on the inside of the pocket. I submitted a warranty claim and kind of let it slide because its easy enough to work around... still annoying but can work around it. Today, July 6, 2023, the handle on top of the bag broke exposing the wire that is inside of it. I did not know it broke but quickly found out when it stabbed my thumb. I actually just did it again while submitting pictures for warranty replacement or refund. Bag is HUGE and can hold a TON of stuff. But the durability is deceiving. At times the amount of space can be overwhelming - you get used to it. Seems super durable and based on 6 weeks of use that is questionable - perhaps I got the ugly duckling of the group. If I can update this review after the warranty process is complete... I will. I believe that is a necessary component to people who are looking to buy but are weary of the process the company may put you through in my situation.

Horrible Quality, Broke In Less Then 1 Month

I ordered a backpack and it was shipped to me on 9/14/2023. It has ALREADY broke less then 1 month since receiving the bag. The Order number is: SWG-1100836742. The cables supporting the handle broke and became unattached.

Handle quality is bad!

First off, I'd like to say this is a awesome bag and I love it and use it constantly!! Why 4 stars and not 5 stars then? The quality of the handle. Let's get into it...
I picked this bag out because Swiss has the best quality around, so I thought. I gave this model to my wife to order and I was in bliss when it came in. I packed all my items and use the bag once a week, on Sunday's. After 2 months the metal cords in the handle came out and I found out when I went to grab the bag and a metal barb stabbed my hand. I took pictures of it and gave it to my wife but she forgot to send them so I said not worry about it because I didn't think the company would do anything about it. But now I'm back on here and see this happened to others.

It also contains a charging port, which is an added bonus. It includes three big compartments for storing your valuables. It is ideal for travel or school and can be used for anywhere. This backpack offers so many intuitive pockets and areas to store all your belongings. Fantastic for a tech enthusiast like me. I'm able to easily place my 17.3" gaming laptop within the backpack and it fits securely inside. My iPad tablet fits in the backpack along with all my cables, portable charger, over the ear headphones, and external keyboard. This backpack is a jack of all trades and truly versatile. It fits in my shoulders very well and is comfy to wear for long periods of time.
The pockets - LOTS of storage areas!
I really love that it folds open in a L shape and that it has a pocket for a battery pack.
The insulated packets is a wonderful thing to have - who wants warm drinks.
It's not overly heavy, but definitely sturdy - feels like it will hold together for a long time and that it's well built!
