[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Swissgear for this amazing free product!! When I tell you that this backpack has everything you need for storage. There are compartments in each zippered part and I love the fact that they are labeled. For a weekend getaway I was able to take my laptop, a huge binder and several envelopes and papers,not to mention my son's PS5 with 2 control. I love all of the storage and the cool area for my drink. I can not wait to take this on the plan and check out the smart scan. This will make a great gift to any game, a college student or anyone who needs a great backpack.

Every pocket is utilized perfectly. The laptop sleeve fits my 17" laptop perfectly with ample room for a thicker option. The console pocket is currently utilized for accessories I use on my day to day work life such as calipers, cable adapters, calculators, etc. The headphone pocket fits my airpods pro max perfectly. That zipper gets jammed a bit, but nothing detrimental. I may reach out to customer service about it. The side pockets are perfect for snacks on the go. The handle feels strong and the quality of the bag is exactly what I was looking for. You can't beat the value here. Excellent purchase.

I bought this as an alternative to my Swiss Gear Scansmart 1900. It fits my Asus laptop, my iPad and other stuff well. Then I picked it up... the cables that run through the handle popped out from the attachment points on one side. Currently awaiting warranty claim to be processed for a replacement.

All in all, it does everything I need it to do. Plenty of space in the front/main/back compartments to hold all of your cords and general use items
My ONLY issue is that if you want to put anything in a case (keyboard, switch, mouse, etc) the pouches designed for those items aren’t big enough and you lose space elsewhere. If my 75% keyboard is in its case in the pouch in the main compartment, my headphones cannot go in the designated spot for them in the front
Not a deal breaker by any means, and there’s still plenty of room for everything. By playing a little bit of Tetris I am fairly confident in the protection the backpack gives them all

I bought this to replace my SWISSGEAR 1900 ScanSmart Laptop Backpack that I had for 8 years when the zipper finally torn off. This backpack is nice because it is stiffer and can stand upright on its own. The volume is bigger too so I could carry more. One of the main reason I got it was because of the hardcover compartment. I needed something to protect my headphones and accessories from getting crushed when traveling. However the design of this compartment keeps causing the zipper to get stuck. Also because this was a gaming backpack, I was hoping for more pockets to store various cables, and small devices like USB, adapters, plugs, etc... but it only have large compartments. So all of my stuff ends up getting mix together and I am left having to sort through what I need every time. My old backpack wasn't as big, couldn't stand upright, and didn't have a hardcover compartment but it had plenty of mini internal storage compartments and the zippers never got stuck until it broke.
