My son loves it!

The songs variety are very good and I love how you can wash it in the washing machine. The movement of the breathing seems to be very relaxing for my son. I was surprised of how much he liked it. Great product.

Soothing, but not Snuggly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of the otter, and the glowing light in the tummy is the perfect soothing shade. Size is pretty great as well, not too big, not too small. The sounds also provide a nice transition at nighttime or nap times, a mix of lullaby and a sort of snoring white noise. My only issue, while the fur of the otter is extremely soft, the mechanics that help it make the sounds and light inside is a large box that unfortunately is awkward to snuggle. It is not a huge deal to me, but the title of the product is Soothe 'n Snuggle.

Super adorable and soothing

The Soothe 'n Snuggle Otter is not only adorable, it is very functional. My baby is attached to it! It helps her fall right asleep and keeps her interest due to the calming, soothing music. She giggles everytime she sees the otter's belly move. The otter is very soft and made of high-quality material. This would be the perfect gift for a baby shower as it is gender neutral. If you have a fussy baby and have tried everything from pacifiers to teethers, I definitely recommend this awesome product. It is super soft and perfect to snuggle with. You can also change the settings of the music. The vibrating and humming instantly helps my baby fall asleep. It is also great to take on the go, especially in the car. I absolutely recommend it!

Absolutely Adorable!

I bought the 'Soothe n' Snuggle Otter' for my baby when she was 3 weeks old, she is now almost 8 weeks old, and we use this throughout our entire daytime and nighttime routine. I love that it can go wherever we go, and that its gender neutral, so it can be used when we have baby #2 (if she ends up sharing it, I feel like I'm going to buy another one). It calms her down fast, and also relaxes her (the breathing feature is amazing), my baby is quite the snuggle bug and will cry if I leave her just to go to the bathroom, this has helped me out immensely on just getting to go to the bathroom by myself without hearing a screaming baby. I also love the nightlight feature, as well as all the sounds, it's the perfect little sound machine, and we love it so much that we are on round 2 of batteries, my husband actually told me we are buying an extra of him, "a back up" incase he stops working from overuse because my daughter loves him so much. The only thing I wish is that he was not on a timer, there were a few times where he would stop making noise and it would startle her to wake back up, I wish you could turn him off at whatever time you wanted to after 30 minutes, but this is still such a great toy, and I would most definitely recommend him.

Easy to wash and keep clean

My children are obsessed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children have an obsession with this otter. My three year old carries it around as a baby and sleeps with it each night. My 18 month old loves the sounds and lights. It goes with them everywhere. I never expected them to like it so much! It was originally intended for my son that is still on the way. I'm not sure if these two will give it up to pass on to him.
From the parent's side of things, this Soothe 'n Snuggle Otter has been good for my children. While I cannot say that it has helped them fall asleep initially, they have used it for comfort when they wake up at night. I can hear the music turn on from their room and they seems to fall back asleep well. It has a variety of music and sound features. The only sound that my husband and I were not a fan of was the breathing sound. It sounds spooky to us. Our kids disagree though and will change it to this breathing sound at times. It also has optional light up belly and breathing motions. All of these settings can be adjusted from a battery pack with buttons located in the otter's back. If a child is young enough this will prevent them from changing the settings. It will not stop a toddler from changing it to whatever they want. Each time you press the belly to activate it, it will run for 30 minutes. You can end it by pressing the belly again. I greatly appreciate this simplicity in design, although I do wish the timer could be adjusted.
Overall it has been a great addition for us!

Awesome Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received te Fisher-Price Soothe 'n Snuggle Otter and it is a game changer. All of my children are in love with it because of the features such as the heart beat sound and also the white noise. They also love the fact that simulates breathing and the light is just enough that they don't really wake up and fall right back to sleep. I recommend this for children of all ages because it has something for everyone.
