Her Best Friend

I bought this when my daughter was 6 months old and she is now 1. We named him Buddy, because he is her best friend! She plays with his ears at night till she falls asleep and won't leave the crib unless she is cuddling him. I highly recommend.

I wouldn’t buy

I liked it in the beginning very cute and snuggling for my baby but after 3 months it doesn’t work and it broke. The button in the stomach is broken and it only plays music for 3 seconds if I’m lucky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very soft on arms and legs but would love to see the battery pack a little smalle. Love that there are options for the light, breathing motion, music, variety sound button including fan white noise breathing and heartbeat noises and also a volume up and down option. The the light isnt to bright and the breathing motion is very calming. I think this is a great plush for newborn - toddler. I know due to the batteries asking for longer time for the breathing and music to play is a bit much but parents with newborns may not want to keep pushing the tummy to restart it.

Perfect bedtime soother

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Soothe ‘n Snuggle Otter just over one week ago. My two year old grandson has always been hard to put down to bed or nap, having to be held or rocked to sleep. The day I took this out of the box and gave it to him at nap time was magical. He loved the music and was mesmerized by the breathing movements of the otter. He was petting it’s ears, feet and tummy when he fell asleep within five minutes. The only thing I would change a to have a phone app to control the features. Wonderful product!

Doesn't work how it should

I had this bought for a gift for my baby, it hardly works for more than 3 heart beat sounds. I am very disappointed as I got rid of the box to send it back and never had a receipt because it was bought as a gift.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It sounds like your Otter may still be in try-me mode. Please make sure the twist-fasteners from the electronics insert have been taken out of the toy. Then, you should open the Velcro on the back of the toy and choose whatever 'mode' they want to use.

Very Soothing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our daughter has a hard time sleeping through the night. I thought the Soothe n Snuggle Otter would be comforting to her, maybe even getting her to stay in bed through the night. I was not disappointed! Her Otter is soft and cuddly, unlike some soothers, and she finds the “breathing” comforting. The only thing she did not like was that the arms weren’t able to hug her back. She was very frustrated with that fact and ended up pulling them apart.
I would recommend the Soothe n Snuggle Otter to parents, our special needs child absolutely loves it.

Super cute, asleep in less than 20 minutes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 2 year old daughter who has always been a bad sleeper. We are about to move her over from her toddler bed (aka converted crib) to a big girl bed, she just started falling sleep by herself with her mobile so this move was a big one for us as the mobile would have to go away. We gave this soother a try and has been AMAZING!!! Besides being super super cute, I love the soft music, breathing feature and light. It has a “remote” in the back that let’s you turn on/off features or change from music to heartbeat/white noise. Overall it’s one of our new favorites and my daughter falls asleep every night with it in under 20 minutes so it’s a winner for us!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Adorable and Soothing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2.5 year old thinks this is adorable and was very excited to receive it. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because when you push the belly to turn it on and off it makes a clicking noise and the belly collapses on itself. It doesn't actually break it though.

There is a clutch inside the moving belly that prevents damage to the motorized area if the otter is squeezed too hard. We suggest pressing lighter to activate or deactivate movement, lights, or sounds.
