Total trash. After spending the crazy amount of money on this package camper deal you would think everything on the app would be free but nope lots of different pay walls.
This monitor has been a game changer for us since having our twins! We have a 2 year old as well and so just using the Nanit app on our phones didn’t allow us to see all 3 babies at once and now we can! We love the large screen and how easy it is to use (both for us and for grandparents and sitters) - the only downside is that the battery life isn’t great. You mostly have to keep it plugged in otherwise it only lasts a few hours off the charger.
We have had our Nanit for about 2. 5 months. We got it when our baby was 4 months old and we needed help getting a better idea of exactly when he woke up to get out of the overtired cycle. It works for this need very well, and we like the ability to check on our baby if we ever leave baby at home with a babysitter. My husband also likes checking on the baby during the day when he's at work. I don't know if we will end up using this for the long term due to the cost of the subscription, but the product itself is easy to use and meets our needs for right now. I will say, the browser version of the app is abysmal and I can't recommend using it because it is so inconsistent. Rating our Nanit 3 stars because I'm not sure it's worth the cost for what it can do.
We have the Nanit (twin setup) and honestly it’s been really good for us. The split screen is probably our favorite feature it just makes life easier being able to see both babies at the same time without flipping back and forth.
We also got the newer Nanit Home display, and that’s been a great add-on. It’s nice not having to grab your phone every time and just having a screen ready to go, especially during the night.
The video quality is super clear and the overhead view is awesome since you can see the whole crib. The app is pretty easy to use too, and it has some extra features like sleep tracking and alerts, which are nice to have.
Only real downside is the price, and the fact that some features are locked behind a subscription. Audio could be a little better, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
Overall though we’ve been really happy with it and it’s worked great for us, especially with two babies.
I am in love with the Nanit! I used to have a different baby monitor system and recently switched and it has been so great, I’ve told all my friends to add it to their registry I love the metrics and camera clarity.
Very happy with the Nanit, we like the versatility of the different stand options including the flex stand to switch up locations if needed. The app is user friendly and it’s nice for basic tracking of diapers and feeding as well.
We love our Nanit so much! The functionality includes more than we ever thought we would need but once you use it you can’t imagine not having it. This was the first item we purchased when we found out we were going to be welcoming a second baby. We opted for the wall mount with #1 but chose the floor stand for #2 and have found that the floor stand is much easier to work with. The travel kit is also very worthwhile not only for long trips but quick outings if the babies are going to be napping somewhere that isn’t their own room. It is extremely easy to setup and reliably monitor from any distance. We have loved Nanit so much that we even purchased the sound machine and nightlight which was essential for middle-of-the-night newborn feedings.
