Great except for the display

We love most of the product, but the 8” display is TERRIBLE! We had to return it and buy a tablet instead because for slightly more money, it does a much better job as a secondary monitor device and of course does so much more than just that. The display battery life is maybe 2 hours max, so it’s worthless if you’re constantly having to charge it. It also was constantly requiring update and taking forever to turn on, which is never convenient when you need it to check on your sleeping baby. It also never seamlessly connected to our internet and had a shorter range than the tablet does. The monitor is great and so is the breathing band though. Just save your money and skip the display.

A Smart, Reliable Baby Monitor Worth Every Penny

The Nanit baby monitor has completely transformed how we keep an eye on our little one. From the moment we set it up, the experience has been smooth, intuitive, and reassuring.
Setup took less than 10 minutes — just mount the camera, download the app, and connect to Wi-Fi. The camera itself has a clean, modern look that doesn't feel out of place in a nursery.
The 1080p HD video is crystal clear, even in complete darkness thanks to the excellent night vision. We can see every tiny movement without any grainy or lagging footage. Two-way audio works great — we can hear the softest sounds and talk to our baby directly through the app.
The Nanit app also serves as our go-to tool for tracking our baby's daily routine, from feeding sessions to diaper changes and potty activity.
The Nanit app is one of the best we've used. It's clean, responsive, and sends real-time alerts when the baby wakes. You can also share access with a partner which is super convenient.

We love our Nanit monitor due to easy access/ controls. One call out - often times it reports inaccurate activity, after reviewing sessions. Otherwise, I would recommend it to families.

We’ve been really happy with

We’ve been really happy with the Nanit baby monitor. The video quality is super clear day and night, the app is easy to use, and the breathing/sleep tracking features gave us a lot of peace of mind as parents. I also love being able to check in from anywhere on my phone. It’s definitely pricey, and the subscription features can add up, but overall it’s been one of our most-used and most helpful baby products.

It works really well. My only complaint is that I had a trial of the insights subscription, and it seemed like I wasn't even getting the additional features. Or if I was, it was not clear how to use them.

My son being born 11

My son being born 11 weeks early was one of the scariest things I have ever experienced. When we took him home without the monitors it left me uneasy. Having the Nanit monitor gave me the peace of mind to sleep. Very grateful to have this baby monitor and even more grateful that he has been fine since he came home.

We now have a second

We now have a second monitor for our second baby, and can’t imagine anything different! We take our nanit with us everywhere when traveling, as it gives great peace of mind to know our babies are sleeping well. As our oldest has gotten older, our nanit doubles as a camera during quiet time in room, and sleep monitor during the night!
