My Favorite Baby Monitor

As a mom of two, having a reliable way to check on my baby gives me so much peace of mind. One of my favorite features is being able to check the camera directly from my phone whether I’m downstairs, outside with my toddler, or away from home. I also love that I can keep the monitor audio playing on my phone without having the video open, which makes it easy to multitask while still listening for my baby.
The setup process was surprisingly simple. The app walked me through everything step-by-step, and I had the monitor up and running in no time. The floor stand was also easy to assemble, and I really appreciate how portable it is. Being able to move it between rooms when needed has been incredibly convenient.
The video quality is outstanding. The picture is clear during both the day and at night, making it easy to see exactly what my baby is doing. I also found the breathing motion monitoring reassuring, especially during those first months when every little noise can make you wonder if everything is okay.
The app itself is very user-friendly. I like having access to sleep information and notifications right on my phone, and being able to check in from anywhere helps me feel connected to my baby even when I’m not in the same room.
Overall, this monitor has made me feel more confident as a parent by giving me reliable information and easy access to my baby’s sleep and activity. Between the excellent video quality, convenient app features, breathing monitoring, and versatile floor stand, it has been a great addition to our daily routine.

Great baby monitor system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor. The setup of the camera system was easy and simple to complete. I like that you can use the app on your mobile device as well as the separate display monitor in case you want to see your baby while doing chores around the house. If I'm not at home, I can still use the app to see what's going on with the baby. When at home, I love using the display as it's bigger and I can just set it on the counter while cooking or cleaning around the house. The feature that I liked the most was the real time notifications. This helps me get a peace of mind with what's going on with my baby when they are sleeping. Whether it is just the baby turning from one side to the other or waking up, it helps to know that it is all being tracked. This also makes me not have to always have the display on the baby and the notifications help me be at ease. Since the monitor is on a floor stand, it is easy to move from one room to another if I need to. It is quick and reconnects right away when moved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received The Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System through Stellar Product Testing Panel and it has helped me feel more connected when I’m away from home, because the video and audio on the app are very clear. Checking in when I am away is very easy. The screen on the monitor is very large, making it easy to see my baby and the audio is also in real time and clear. I have two older children,so when the baby is sleeping, I am often running around the house, so it’s also nice to have the option to check in using the app at home, as well.
I use the sleep dashboard to help me figure out how I need to adjust routines and bedtime in order to help my baby get the best night’s sleep. I found this very helpful. I also use the real-time notifications, because our life is so busy right now, getting notified when something needs attention gives me peace of mind. If my daughter were younger, I would have definitely used the breathing motion monitoring and the feeding/diaper log to help keep track of everything.
Setting it all up was very easy. Having the video to demonstrate everything was helpful. Nothing was confusing or took too much time. I plan to bring the monitor with us on vacation, because of how easy it is to move around. Our previous monitor was mounted to the wall, which is a pain to bring anywhere with us. I also plan to use the monitor in the play room as our daughter gets older.
The monitor has changed my confidence in parenting by allowing me to share so much information with my husband, helping him to also understand the reasoning behind tweaking our routines to better suit our baby’s sleep needs. We alternate days at home alone with the children, and it has been difficult to nail down a good routine that works for us and our daughter, but using the sleep dashboard on the Nanit Smart monitor has really helped us get on the same page with what works best for our daughter.

Nanit Wall Mount Monitor System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this baby monitor to test it out through Stellar Product Testing Panel and I could not be more grateful for the opportunity. This system has made me less anxious and has also connected my husband while he is at work. I love being able to see the time my son fell asleep and how long he’s been sleeping. As a mom of two littles it is such a relief knowing I don’t have to remember the exact time he fell asleep or figure out how long he’s been asleep for because the monitor does it for me! I received the 8” monitor screen and was super impressed by the quality and design of it. The stand that is attached folds into the back of the monitor seamlessly. The picture quality is great and there are many different things you can track on it including bottles, diaper changes, and it tracks their sleep. If your child wakes up crying it time stamps it and places it into the log, same with coughing or moving. I wish I would’ve had this monitor with my newborn because it would have made tracking everything much easier. My favorite feature is that while my husband is at work he is able to look at our son and even speak through the camera via the Nanit app. My son loves this feature as well and will look at the camera and ask for “daddy” almost every morning. The only thing I’m not the biggest fan of was the set up. It did come with step by step instructions and also a video to guide you but I found it was much more in depth than expected.

Incredible Peace of Mind at Home and on the Go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent who has used the Nanit Baby Monitor for the past year and a half, I can confidently say it is worth the investment. I also recently received their new home display, and it has been a fantastic addition to our routine.
The Wi-Fi connectivity on the camera is a game-changer. I travel for work, and being able to check in on my daughter every morning and evening while away makes being apart so much easier. The companion app is packed with helpful features that ensure she gets the rest she needs. Every morning, I review her sleep insights, tracking her daily sleep score, checking for night wakings, and viewing the incredibly insightful coughing and crying statistics. This data is perfect for figuring out when she will be ready for her next nap. The built-in room temperature and humidity tracking also give me peace of mind that her environment is set up for success.
The new home monitoring display is perfect for when outside caregivers are watching our daughter. It is easy to use and displays helpful information right on the screen. My parents recently watched our daughter for a weekend and navigated the display with total ease. While it holds a charge and does not need to be plugged in constantly, the battery life is not quite large enough to stay on unplugged all night, so we keep it plugged in at bedtime.
Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System and plan to continue using it for any future children. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor! Great monitor for newborn sleep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was impressed by how easy it was to assemble and set up. I especially appreciated having different mount options since we planned to use the monitor in our bedroom first with the bassinet and later move it to the nursery with the crib. The floor stand was simple to assemble, and the instructions were clear. The Home Display screen setup was also easy, and we were ready to track our baby's sleep habits right away.
We started with the monitor in our master bedroom, then moved it to the nursery after about a week. The transition was seamless since we could easily move the floor stand and plug it into another room. Having access to the sleep dashboard, real-time notifications, and the breathing band made us feel much more comfortable with the transition to crib sleeping. The breathing band, in particular, gave us extra peace of mind while our baby slept in another room.
One of my favorite features was the bird’s-eye camera view, which made it easy to clearly see our newborn while he slept. I also loved the sleep insights and nightly sleep scores, along with the recommendations for improving sleep habits.
Being able to monitor my baby from my phone was another huge plus, especially when a babysitter was watching him. It helped me feel connected and reassured that he was sleeping safely and comfortably.
There were two areas I think could be improved. First, the Home Display screen runs out of battery fairly quickly, and once it is on low battery, it does not send any sort of notification or sound to let you know. I keep the screen plugged in overnight, but if I were to forget, this could create a problem if it ran out of battery. Second, while the sleep insights are incredibly helpful, they aren’t always accurate. When the bedtime or amount of time awake wasn't tracked correctly, I wished I had the ability to manually edit these details so I could keep a more accurate record of my baby's sleep.
Overall, this is an excellent baby monitoring system that I would highly recommend to caregivers, especially during the newborn stage when quality sleep and peace of mind are so important!

The Smart Monitor We Wish We Switched to Sooner

Our son is almost two, and until recently we were using a traditional non Wifi monitor. While it worked most of the time, we had already replaced it once because of frequent disconnection, and it often needed to be reset. The Nanit has been a huge upgrade for us.
We set it up right before my first trip away from home without my son, and the live video feed ended up being my favorite feature. I loved being able to open the app and check on him whenever I wanted. Being able to hear parts of bedtime even while I was away helped me feel connected and include in our routines.
The features we use the most are the live video, notifications, sleep tracking, and photo capture. The video quality is so clear, and I love being able to see exactly when my son falls asleep and wakes up. At this age, sleep is still a big part of our daily routine, so having that information automatically tracked is really helpful. We also find ourselves saving photos from the monitor more often than I expected because it captures some really sweet little moments of him.
Setup was simple, and we really appreciate the floor stand. It allows the camera to be positioned further away from my son's crib while still giving us a great view. I also like that all of the cords are enclosed inside the stand, so there aren't any cords within reach for our curious toddler to explore.
Overall, the Nanit has made me feel more confident because I know I can reliably check in on my son wether I'm gardening in the backyard or on a work trip across the state. After dealing with monitors that regularly disconnected, having one that consistently works and gives us useful information about his sleep has been a game changer for our family.

Nanit is a game changer

I’m loving my Nanit camera. I actually had purchased my own camera prior to receiving one via the product testing panel. The one I received was the over the crib camera and external monitor. The external monitor’s quality is SO nice. The User Interface is extremely intuitive. I liked that the over the crib camera provides updates to when you last attended (soothed) your child at the crib as well as when the child falls asleep. It’s handy for logging in our app and knowing how long our LO has been sleeping. Since we have two cameras as well we have them both on the same account so you can split screen on the external monitor which is extremely convenient! We also use the white noise function which is helpful and reduces the number of gadgets you need in your LO’s room which has been great as well. Overall, compared to other similarly priced monitors I have tested the Nanit offers a more modern, high tech option that we are loving!
