[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nanit Smart Baby Monitor has been so incredibly helpful! I received it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I’m so grateful that I did. I did not realize the features I was missing out on. I like how big the monitor is and the crisp clear image that it displays. I also love being able to connect to an app. It’s so nice to be able to leave the house and still be able to connect on my phone and check in on my baby while she’s with dad. Her dad tends to leave the space heater on and the room gets very hot very quickly, being able to check on my phone, I can see the temp and remind him to turn it down or off completely. Although I just had my third baby, I am so much more anxious about her just randomly stopping breathing. So having the band that goes around their little chest to monitor their breathing motion has brought me so much peace of mind. An alarm goes off when it detects no breathing motion for about 20 seconds so it’s nice to know that I will NOT be sleeping through the alert notice. My husband was the one who set up the cam and it was pretty quick and easy. It took less than 10min to get it on the wall and maybe another 5min to download the app and get all that setup.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Nanit baby monitor with my newborn and so far have loved the versatility. It has everything! This monitor is like a mini tablet and shows so much information about your newborn. I love the nightly time-lapse videos of my baby waking up, falling asleep and being cared for; they are so sweet to look back on. It’s super nice to have the feeding and diaper logs right in the app and on the physical monitor. My favorite function is being able to have the video minimized in the corner of your phone or computer while you are looking at something else on your screen. I love being able to instantly see her if I am doing house chores. It gives me so much peace of mind. I’m excited to use the sleep analytics to see how my baby is sleeping at night. Our toddler went through a year’s worth of physical therapy for torticollis and always rolled towards her right side. I’m hoping this will be me see if our newborn is favoring a side while she’s sleeping and I would get a PT consult earlier this go around. The functions I mostly use are the phone alerts when my baby is moving or crying and the memories tab. I love being able to look back at those sweet moments of us. I had some difficulty getting the camera to link to both the app and the monitor but it eventually just started working. My husband also couldn’t get the video to work on his computer. After everything finally connected, we’ve had no issues with connectivity or even after moving the camera to a different room. I wish the breathing band was a little bigger so I could use it around thicker sleep sacks. My baby likes to sleep with her hands up by her face so the band doesn’t cover them, like the instructions say, and it’s still a tight squeeze. Overall, this monitor is amazing. I’m sure there are so many functions that I’m not aware of yet and that will be so helpful in caring for my baby. I’m excited to see what else it has to offer! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleep like a baby? Yeah, right! My little ones are notoriously terrible sleepers. Which also means I get terrible sleep for the first two years of their lives. So, I don’t mind splurging on something that will give me a little peace of mind.
When I found the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor, I was shocked by the size of the video screen. For our first baby, I had an audio only monitor. For our second baby, we got a screen that was maybe 3 inches. It was an upgrade, but it was always grainy and impossible to see anything. For our fourth baby, this feels like luxury. The screen is huge and clear. I never have to wonder how my daughter is doing.
I love the innovative floor stand. It is so much more practical than trying to find a shelf to set the camera on and trying to find the right angle. They also included wire covers, which is pleasant to look at, of course, but it’s also super practical with a baby crawling around. It wasn’t difficult to set up at all. The wire was already threaded and the whole thing clicked together in less than 5 minutes.
I am swooning over the app. It works similarly to a video doorbell. I love that even when we’re out on a date night, I can check in to see how things are going at home. My husband can check on his phone, as well. It even tracks waking and sleeping schedules and sends a notification when the baby is crying. I can see this being practical for a long time, even after we’re out of the “baby monitor” phase. I will love being able to keep an eye on my toddler and even preschooler while they’re having quiet time in their room.
This is definitely a premium product, but there is nothing more valuable than sleep. Being able to actually sleep when the baby is sleeping instead of keeping one eye open the whole night to make sure I don’t miss something on the monitor is priceless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nanit Pro Camera and Nanit Home Monitor through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it has truly been a game changer for our family.
One of the things I love most about this system is how connected it helps me feel to my children, whether I’m at home or away. As a mom, there are times when grandparents, babysitters, or other family members are helping with childcare, and being able to check in and see my little ones gives me incredible peace of mind. The addition of the Nanit Home Monitor is one of my favorite upgrades because family members can easily view the camera without needing to download apps or figure out complicated phone settings. It makes sharing access simple and stress-free.
The features we use most are the real-time notifications, sleep dashboard, two-way audio, and breathing motion monitoring. The breathing motion monitoring provides reassurance during sleep, while the real-time notifications help me stay informed without constantly checking the app. I also love being able to use the two-way audio to comfort my child without immediately going into the room. The sleep dashboard has been especially helpful for identifying patterns and understanding sleep habits, which has helped us create more consistent routines.
Setup was surprisingly easy. Everything was straightforward and user-friendly, and I was impressed with how quickly we were up and running. The flexibility to move the monitor between rooms has also been incredibly useful. Whether we’re spending time in a different room, traveling, or adjusting sleeping arrangements, being able to reposition the monitor gives us added convenience and flexibility.
This monitor has increased my confidence as a parent in so many ways. Having access to detailed sleep insights, breathing motion monitoring, and the ability to easily check in on my children helps me feel informed and supported. I also love being able to share special moments and updates with caregivers and family members. The Nanit system doesn’t just function as a baby monitor—it helps our entire family stay connected.
After using several baby monitors over the years, I can confidently say that the Nanit is my favorite. The video quality, smart features, ease of use, and overall peace of mind it provides are unmatched. It has become an essential part of our daily routine, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a monitor that helps them feel connected, informed, and reassured.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor with the wall mount, and it’s honestly made me feel a lot more connected to my baby, even when I’m not in the room. I find myself checking in from my phone all the time—not out of stress, but just because it’s comforting to see them sleeping and know everything’s okay.
The real-time notifications are what I rely on most. The alerts are helpful without being overwhelming, and the sleep analytics have actually helped me understand patterns I never would’ve picked up on otherwise. I also use the two-way audio which I wouldn’t have expected—it’s such a simple thing, but being able to talk or soothe them for a second before going in the room makes a big difference.
Setup with the wall mount was pretty easy, and once it was up, it felt really secure and out of the way, which I love. Overall, it’s made me feel more confident as a parent and a little more at ease during naps and nighttime sleep. I received this product part of the Stellar Testing Panel, and I’m so grateful to have this product in my household!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor.
The Nanit has been an absolute game-changer for our family. It gives me such peace of mind to have that crystal-clear, bird's-eye view of my baby. Whether I'm just in the other room or out for the evening, being able to pull up the app on my phone and see them sleeping safely makes me feel incredibly connected. It’s so much more than just a camera; it’s like a little window into their world when I can't be right there.
I honestly use the real-time sound and motion notifications the most. They give me a gentle heads-up when the baby starts to stir, so I can often get there before a full-blown cry. This has made my daily routine feel so much less chaotic. The sleep dashboard has also been amazing. It helps decipher my baby's sleep patterns, which felt like a total mystery at first. Seeing the data laid out helped us build a better routine. And I have to admit, the breathing motion monitoring was a huge comfort in those early, anxious newborn weeks. It really helped *me* sleep better.
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the setup was, even with the wall mount. The app walks you through every step and even includes a handy template to make sure you get the placement just right over the crib. Having it securely mounted on the wall gives me total peace of mind—there are no worries about it getting knocked over, and the cords are safely tucked away. It creates that perfect, unobstructed overhead view.
This monitor has definitely boosted my confidence. For example, we were going through a rough patch where our baby was waking up frequently. By looking at the sleep dashboard, we noticed a pattern and realized the room was getting a bit too cool in the early morning. A simple adjustment to the thermostat made a world of difference. We also love sharing access with the grandparents; it lets them feel close and be part of the little moments. The app even saves sweet video memories, which are wonderful to look back on and share.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've really liked the Nanit baby monitor. I received it in exchange for an honest review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It was incredibly easy to set up, has been consistently reliable, and we've never experienced any connection issues. The video quality is excellent, and being able to check in on my little one through the app while I'm at work gives me real peace of mind. The breathing monitor has also worked well for us. If you plan to use that feature, I'd recommend purchasing the Nanit swaddles or sleep sacks, as the standard breathing band doesn't fit well over most other swaddles or sleep sacks. One minor drawback is that some of the additional accessories can increase the overall cost. I use the picture-in-picture and background audio features all the time. They make it easy to keep an eye on, or listen for, my baby while using my phone for other tasks. The app is generally excellent, though it occasionally takes a few extra seconds to load the video feed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System has been such a life changer. I often feel immobilized during baby's sleep time, obsessively checking that the baby is ok. This changed it all for me. I can finally have peace of mind and be productive or actually sleep at night. There is the ability for a safely mounted overhead view, where you wont have to adjust the camera as with others in the past. The mount keeps all of the dangers to baby securely mounted and inaccessible to them. The video quaility doesnt disappoint, both in the day and night. The night vision is sharp without that harsh eye glowing many others have. The audio seems top notch, you can hear the tiniest of sounds The app is simple and easy to navigate, I have not experienced any connection delays or concerns thus far. My favorite feature is the breathing motion monitoring and sleep tracking. Not only is it peace of mind but it also gives great insight to babies quailty of sleep. Its an extra layer of reassurance. The belly band is comfortable (and cute), and replacements arent going to drain your wallet (if theyre even necessary). Each parent or caregiver can have their own profile on the app, Id suppose for whomever has the baby. And the app will store the sleep information for a period depending on your subscription. Id recommend this to any new or anxious parent. I received this item for free from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for an honest review.
