We love our Nanit baby monitor! I was skeptical about having a WiFi monitor at first but we haven’t had any issues. I love the video saving feature. We will likely be switching our toddlers monitor as well to a nanit. We have the nanit screen as well and have not had any problems with it. I feel like most monitor screens have to be plugged in often so that’s not a big deal to us.
We love Nanit, It has been so helpful and the nice to be able to check in even if she is at home with the sitter, we like that we can have others access the camera if they are on our WIFI which is nice when we have a babysitter over, and the Breathing band has always made me feel better about her sleeping in her own room, the Memory recaps and insights are always good to see and helps challenge me to keep on a schedule better, over all we are very happy with out Nanit smart monitor.
At first glance it works great but it has its glitches. It constantly has to be updated. Last night it completely malfunctioned and does not even turn on anymore. We get error messages on a blank blue screen. Support mentioned only thing to do is replace screen. We will get replacement because it is nice to have a screen, but am hesitant it will work well.
This has been essential for us as a family ! Some parts aren’t totally necessary but I do t regret the purchase at all! It caught A side preference of our baby early on that we were able to get help with through massage that resolved! We would not have otherwise noticed until much later
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nanit baby monitor system as part of a stellar review panel, so I received the product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. Unlike traditional baby monitors that have a home unit, I love that the Nanit baby monitor system can be used with an app on my phone. It makes me feel my baby, even when she’s being watched by other people and I’m away from home. My favorite feature is definitely the two-way audio system, my other monitor has very glitchy audio, and it sounds robotic, but this sounds like I am actually just talking to my daughter in the same room. Setting up the system was really easy, I set up the camera over her floor style bed and setting up the apples, really easy. My only issue was that the app would continuously disconnect from my network and I had to continuously reconnect it. That was the only issue I had with the system, but overall I feel like I enjoy using the nanit baby monitor.
