Nice and portable but did not help us at night

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this monitor as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love the monitor that we currently have but it is a bit bulky to take on the go with us and it’s also a lot taking a monitor around our property with us during nap time or in the evening. My sweet little 14 month old goes to bed fairly early and this monitor allowed me to take advantage of the late summer sunset and keep playing with my boys out in yard while still keeping an eye on our little one. I loved being able to just pick up my phone and check in whenever I felt the need. I also loved that I could go back and view moments with my little one later, like her big brother greeting her in the morning or her dad having a dance with her during pajama time sometimes though it would miss recording things I know occurred at a certain time and the memory would just not be in the app for play back. I also did not love that I had to have a monthly subscription to keep the memories for long. I’m a bit tired of everything coming with a subscription especially for a product that cost on the middle/ higher end. I would like to pay for an item and get access to more than just the basic without a subscription every month. I did like that it gave me a free trial period but I just don’t feel like paying for a subscription is worth it for a baby monitor. This monitor is not a good option for over night monitoring if you baby is in a different room. The notifications for this app were not loud enough to wake me from sleep and I am a pretty light sleeper. My phone vibrating on the night stand wakes me up but these notifications did not. If you want to use this as an overnight monitor then I recommend looking into the separate monitor you can purchase to go with this system but that is an additional cost added to the already higher priced monitor. We took this monitor with us to grandmas house and it was so easy to pack in our carry on as it hardly took up any space. This is an amazing monitor if you travel frequently and need to keep an eye on your little one where ever you go.
Overall I would recommend this camera to families who do a lot of travel but keep in mind that if you want to be able to use it for monitoring baby in another room while you sleep you may want to invest in the separate parent monitor and there is a continued monthly cost if you wish to have access to all the features in the app.

Practical for a traveling family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor to try. I'm so happy with this camera and all it has to offer. The ability to check in on my little ones, whether at home or on the go, has been life changing. My favorite feature is the cry detection where it sends a notification to your phone. You can change the sensitivity level if you want it to pick up on the smallest cry or not. I have mine set in the middle range because my baby is a noisy sleeper and I only wanted to be alerted to an actual, loud cry. This feature gave me peace of mind to step outside in the backyard with my older kids during nap time. With a traditional monitor I always worried I was out of range.
I also really enjoyed using this monitor on our most recent camping trip. I was able to move the monitor from our house to the camper with no effort. It was as easy as plugging it back in, connecting to the wifi, and placing it in view of the pack and play. I was even able to quickly move it to the bunk beds during my toddlers nap time. The convenience of this camera is something to brag about. I also was given extra peace of mind when we left our baby with grandma. I was able to peek in on her, even when miles away at the restaurant, to make sure she was still sleeping soundly. Knowing I could check in on her without distracting grandma is such an added bonus.
Even without the subscription I was happy with the features provided to me. The extra paid for features have their place, especially if you want to see milestones, growth compilation, or other insights. When my child is older I can easily see me purchasing the floor stand attachment so I can utilize the "out of bed" notification. However, for now, the flex stand works perfectly for my routine and the expectations I needed for a camera. I required a camera to have clear imaging, be easy to transport from one location to another, and to easily be accessed from a wide variety of distances. The Nunit met these expectations and won me over with their bonus features of AI technology. I do wish all the features were included in a one time price, but overall the tier packaging is a negligible complaint.

Peace of Mind. Reporting Improvements

Love the peace of mind this gives me! Great picture quality and I love the subscriptions you can add on to get more insights and information.
My only complaint is that my baby is still waking a few times a night to eat, sometimes early like 4-5 am, and even though I lay him back down and he sleeps for a few more hours, and this time is well within my “overnight sleep” time settings, the app will treat that early morning feeding wake up time as the time he got up for the day and will treat the time I lay him back down as a nap. This doesn’t give the clear and full overnight overview that I am hoping to see each morning.

Great baby monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent the Nanit baby monitor camera by Stellar Product Testing Panel in order to give my honest review. I do have to say it has been soo nice having it. At first I thought it wasn't great having to use my phone for viewing instead of a separate baby monitor screen but it turns out that has been so helpful. I already carry my phone with me everywhere so I didn't have to carry a second screen with me or go back to get it if I forgot to bring it downstairs. So it already receives 5 stars just for the convenience factor. When I have a babysitter at home, it has been really nice to be able to check the monitor when I'm out to see how things are going also.
The app and camera were both easy to setup and use. I do appreciate the two step verification process when logging in for extra security. I have not subscribed to any of the optional plans so I can't say if they are worth the money for those features. It is slightly annoying to click things on the app for it just to pop up and say those aren't included unless I subscribe so it would be nice if they had a separate area for those maybe.
The camera has a nice clear picture and sound. The night vision works really well. All in all I think this camera is a must have for parents.

Nanit Monitor love it great for travel

The video quality is clear, the app is easy to use, and setup is quick wherever we go. It's compact enough to pack without taking up much space, giving us peace of mind whether we're at home, visiting family, or staying in a hotel. Highly recommend for parents who travel frequently.

Game Changer of Monitors

From the moment we set up our Nanit, I have felt so much reassurance. The quality of the video is so clear and crisp allowing me to really see my little one instead of a grainy blob.
What really sets the Nanit apart is the app. Whether I’m in the kitchen making dinner, running errands, or at work, I can check in on my little one in seconds. That “peek” from anywhere has completely changed my daily routine. I spent my first full day away from my little while to go to the World Cup and it made me feel so much better knowing she was getting down for her naps on time. I used to have a lot of anxiety about it but now I glance at my phone, see my baby sleeping peacefully, and carry on with my day feeling calm and confident.
I’ll be honest at first I wasn’t sure I could fully trust it, so I kept our old monitor running alongside it just in case. But after just one day, I realized how accurate it really was, and the old one got put away for good. It’s such a simple thing, but it makes the monitor feel truly effortless to use.
What I love most is the combination of the video quality and the seamless remote access. One feature I didn’t expect to rely on so much is the ability to keep the audio playing even when my phone is locked. It took me a little bit to figure how to do it but I love that I don’t have to have the app pulled up constantly. I can just go about my day, tidy the house, or unwind, and I’ll hear her the moment she stirs. We even keep it playing overnight so I never miss a peep if she wakes up. It’s such a simple thing, but it makes the monitor feel truly effortless to use. I’ve been telling other parents about the Nanit and am so glad I got to make the switch.

Peace of mind from anywhere

When I was first deciding on baby monitors, I really didn’t give it much thought figuring all of them are essentially the same but after trying out the Nanit I can confidently say they are NOT all the same.
My first impression of the Nanit was that it’s super sleek design-wise and I love that it is a little heavier in weight which makes it very sturdy.
The picture quality is extremely impressive. I was used to a grainy monitor and it was night and day with the Nanit. The Nanit is so clear!
I LOVE that it connects to your phone so that it can be used at home and on-the-go. That is a gamechanger compared to other baby monitors where you have to charge or plug in a physical monitor and they only work within a certain range. The Nanit gives peace of mind from anywhere. It also provides notifications when it detects movement or crying, and you can even play sound from the camera itself. My baby loves to fall asleep to the birds!
The memories feature is a sweet touch, and I can see how the video history would be beneficial however, be aware that does cost extra money via a subscription plan. I didn’t love that you have to sign up for a subscription plan to even get started, but their website says you can cancel at any time and the monitor will still work without a subscription (you just won’t have the extra features).
All in-all I really love this monitor and plan to purchase the floor stand for it!

Peace of mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing baby monitor! OMG I love this thing. From the ease of set-up to the app that allows me to spy on my sweet little child while he's sleeping (not to be creepy).
I work very early morning and the fact that I can have my headphones in and listen to him rise and shine warm my heart!
Another cool feature has been making clips of funny things he's doing during his bedtime and wake up routine to send to the grandparents.
I've enjoyed is being able to have our sitters use the app when they are here and it give them just a little more peace of mind once they put him down to sleep.

The microphone and speaker mode have been entertaining for me to have conversation when I'm not home. Though I've began to notice my son will wave to the camera and say "bye dad" when I'm the one holding him.
I don't know if I can rate this product any higher. I normally can find something I don't like about things but this is a 10/10 all the way around!
I didn't think the night vision was going to work as well as it does and thats just a little cherry on top.
I ended up getting the floor stand for it as the table space in the room was limited.
Quick shout out to Steller Product Testing Panel for sending the Nanit baby monitor!
