Good System - but

Great system. But to get started you have…HAVE… to give them your credit card and signup for their subscription service.
Sure, you can cancel it immediately. But you cannot just plug-and-play the device. You have to do the (free) subscription with a credit card.

This was the best purchase I ever made. My daughter is 20 months old and I originally did not buy the Nanit because it did not have a separate monitor for my in-laws to use when they baby sit. Ultimately the other monitor I bought failed and wouldn't charge any more so once I heard Nanit came out with the monitor I bought it.
I have been loving all the features and the screen is so user friendly and detailed. We LOVE IT.

Reliable, great night vision

We love our Nanit! Very easy to set up and use. Not nearly as quirky as our old baby monitor. We have been using the flex stand with our toddler but plan to use the wall attachment when our next baby arrives.

I was gifted the Nanit monitor for my second baby. The picture is so clear, I actually love that I can have the monitor on my phone. I absolutely loved knowing how long my Abby had been asleep and being able to go back and see his movements during the night. I will say I was pretty bummed when the “trial” period ended. I feel like with such a pricey monitor you shouldn’t have to pay extra for at least seeing how long baby has been asleep.

Great camera

We love the camera for the insights and breathing tracking. We used it for both our girls. You would need to pay the yearly subscription to use the smart feature otherwise it’s just a camera and you can’t even review recorded videos.

Easy to Use & External Monitor is Gold

Nanit is great! It gives peace of mind in an easier and less invasive format than say an owlet. The swaddle are high quality and the fabric is buttery making them a fast favorite by way of sleep sacks. The external monitor is great too since I can have it by my bed without using my phone (most monitors these days are all solely app-based which is great, but an external monitor is preferred in some scenarios so having the option for both is a game changer).

Great Monitor

Over all a great product and a major upgrade from the low-tech one we had prior. It does not track temperature well - the temperature on the monitor consistently reads 5-8 degrees warmer than it actually is in the nursery so we bought a hydrometer to ensure we can accurately track the temp. Camera quality isn’t super clear with night vision but still better than others.

Love my Nanit

This is my second Nanit camera and it gives me such peace of mind to be able to see my child, whether I’m downstairs or at work and the kids are with the nanny. I would recommend it to anyone with kids!
