I recently purchased the Nanit baby monitor and I’m honestly so glad I did. As a new mom, peace of mind is everything, and this monitor gives me exactly that.
I love how it immediately alerts me when my baby starts crying or if he’s moving around too much—it makes me feel like I don’t have to constantly check the monitor every second. The video quality is amazing, even at night, and I can see him so clearly.
The white noise feature has been such a game changer for us. It helps soothe my baby and makes bedtime feel so much calmer. I also really love the insights and logging feature—it helps me keep track of sleep patterns and just understand my baby better overall.
It truly makes me feel more at ease, especially during the night. If you’re a new parent looking for a monitor that does more than just show video, I genuinely recommend Nanit. It’s been 100% worth it for us.

The UI and camera work

The UI and camera work very well, I trust it and love that you can keep the video open on other screens to continue monitoring. My only gripe isn’t the temperature sensor; it seems to be housed in the camera unit which emits heat so it registers a much higher temp than there should be. Mine is showing that the temp is 10 degrees warmer than what the actual temp is most of the time. Other than that, it’s a great unit.

Amazing product! Has all the features you need for your baby including a camera monitor, a breathing monitor, sound machine, activity log ect. If I could redo my registry I would only add this instead of Hatch + Owl Sock/Monitor.

This monitor sucks. The battery

This monitor sucks. The battery doesn’t last but 2 hours. It constantly beeps for no reason. The quality isn’t as good as the app and it’s so expensive.

Not sure that I am entirely unique but we have a 2 month old and a 15 month old. Each has their own Nanit camera which work great for us. We love the night light and sound machine features. Plus with Nanits large hands free display that can show both cameras while you work which is great for my wife who works from home. With all the features and benefits of being able to watch my kids from anywhere. I give the Nanit a 5 stars

The chime sound for notifications

The chime sound for notifications is very annoying and you have to hold down the on button for so long for it to turn on. But otherwise very well built and love having the physical monitor!
