We recently purchased the Nanit baby monitor system and it has completely changed the way we approach sleep and peace of mind as new parents. The video quality is incredibly clear—even at night—and the overhead view gives a full, unobstructed look at our baby’s crib, which feels much safer than traditional angled monitors.
What really sets Nanit apart is that it’s not just a camera—it’s a full system. The sleep tracking and breathing motion monitoring have been game changers for us. Instead of constantly checking in and worrying, we can rely on real-time insights and wake-up summaries that actually help us understand our baby’s sleep patterns.
The app is intuitive, setup was surprisingly easy, and we love that multiple caregivers can securely access the feed when needed. It genuinely feels like Nanit took the stress and guesswork out of those early months.

I've used this product for about 3 months now, I love it. I love the breathing monitor I can tell when my baby is close to waking up or in a deeper sleep. The app sometimes logs out and there is a glitch where the sound stops after 1 minute, the only fix I've found is deleting the app in it's entirety which unfortunately loses all the saved data. Other than that, I would use again!

I really love having a monitor apart from my phone!! I’ve been hoping for this for years and now that I have a 2 year old and 3 month old it’s game changer. Battery could last longer and the feed sometimes lags on the monitor and not my phone. Definitely some things to work out but overall just glad to have the option of phone and monitor!

Definitely love nanit even though it’s pricey, it’s worth it. The breathing band helps give parents a peace of mind at night. I don’t like how you have to pay for the insights but it is what it is. We bought a 2nd nanit for our 2nd born as well.

I give it 3 stars only because I watched children who have had this, and ultimately made me decide to get it for my own child after giving birth because I loved it so much. Unfortunately, mine is constantly putting the wrong report up under activity and on a daily basis having to delete and report activity for it being false. Becoming frustrating. The reading of the breathe wear also gets lost, even though he’s centered in the crib and not much movement. Which then sets off the loud noise of it being disconnected because it can’t be read, on the camera which wakes him. Internet works everywhere else in my house fine and haven’t had an issue, but connection is constantly being lost and the loading sign is on repeat (of course in the middle of the night which causes me to lose sleep afraid it won’t be reading, even though it says the alarm is still active, I just don’t trust it). I don’t know- I feel like I just got a bad camera because I spent a full year loving this at the home where I nannied.

It picks up the changes

It picks up the changes in the daylight from the window as “movement” which is super annoying! I’ve tried adjusting the app and reporting it as false behavior but we ended up just turning the camera off in the meantime. Our baby isn’t here yet but we hope it’ll be more accurate once the baby’s in the crib.
