We bought this for our baby since we are sleep training him and I wanted to be able to check on my baby anytime I love how I’m able to see him live and the sleep score is quite helpful to track his improvement
We have had a Nanit since 2023 and loved it. The only thing we didn’t like was it didn’t have a physical monitor so we were hesitant to buy a 2nd Nanit… UNTIL they revealed the Display Monitor! There’s not a single bad thing we can say about the entire Nanit system. Clear picture quality, 100% peace of mind when we put both kids down to bed and it never misses a moment. It’s worth eeeevery penny in our book!
The Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System has been one of the best investments for our nursery. The camera quality is excellent and gives such a clear, wide view of the crib, which makes it easy to check on my baby at any time. The app is also very intuitive and lets me monitor everything directly from my phone
We got our Nanit in preparation for a new baby but we're currently using it with our toddler. It has been super convenient to move based on where she's sleeping. We've had to restart the monitor a couple times but otherwise we're very happy. Great clarity on the camera and the alerts give peace of mind.
I was so excited to make the switch from Owlet to Nanit. I really wish I had this entire system when she was born. The biggest thing I needed was a handheld monitor. I had to set up two cameras to accomplish one goal since they did not have a monitor. So I used a cheap non WiFi and then a WiFi camera.
Once I had seen yall had this base I could carry around I was so excited! Then all I have had is problems. And when I try to reach out I don’t get guidance I get general support which is frustrating because as much as I had issues with Owlet they never left me high and dry. They stayed with me until it was fixed even if that was days later.
There are something’s I wish you guys would ask moms and not like group moms who could use it but like actually the moms who use it everyday. The moms that have the problems with it.
I really enjoy that it does a full 24 constant record! Other than that I’m overwhelmed with how to use it and there are some things that don’t make sense.
There is a notification for motion, sound, cry, stand, left the crib… but there isn’t a way to make them different tones. Motion, cry and sound can be one tone. But standing and leaving the crib should be each their own. Those are very big differences. So I have to like run and check the camera to see which is it. Which feels like an easy fix.
You can’t delay the insights trial when setting this up. So you either have to start your 3 month trial a month before the baby arrives (wasting a month) or you can’t see and adjust the camera as you set up the nursery. Large UX bug imo.
Second the vision at night is rather pixelated.
Finally the app keep sound going in the background on your phone even when you change apps. Not sure but seems like this could be a privacy bug.
Camera quality is amazing. Clear pictures and sound quality is great too. The only complaint we have is that we have two monitors now with the addition of our newborn and didn’t realize we’d have to purchase two separate subscriptions instead of just one combined.
We absolutely love our Nanit. My newborn had an episode of BRUE (Brief Resolved Unexplained Event) which landed us in the emergency department at 2am. She had stopped breathing for a minute. We ordered the Nanit while in the waiting room for peace of mind knowing she is breathing while sleeping. My husband was watching her at the time so he was able to help her when she stopped breathing. Since having the Nanit it allows us to get restful sleep and know that we can glance at the monitor and know she is breathing and sleeping soundly. I would highly recommend the Nanit to any parents, it is expensive but 100% worth it!
