The product is solid, but Nanit really does everything they can do to upsell, and its egregious that you dont get credit for your current plan if you chose to upgrade the plan. Want to have the feature, great pay for another year at a higher premium and just throw away the rest of the months YOU ALREADY PAID FOR. Outright taking advantage of new parents who didnt know what they needed or wanted yet.

We absolutely love our Nanit smart baby monitor system. The video quality is incredibly clear both day and night, and the app is super easy to use. The breathing monitoring and sleep insights have been a huge peace of mind, especially during those first months. Notifications are reliable without being overwhelming, and I really appreciate how quickly the app loads and connects every time.
Setup was straightforward, and the overall build quality feels premium and well thought out. It’s one of those products that you don’t realize how much you’ll rely on until you have it—and now we use it constantly.
Honestly, this has been one of the best baby purchases we’ve made. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a dependable, high-quality monitor.

I like the camera itself,

I like the camera itself, I just think that having a subscription based service attached to an already very expensive camera is a scam! Also, the app is very buggy and slow. After paying as much as I have, I shouldn’t have to worry about a bad app.

We love the nanit and its monitoring features. It gives peace of mind for our baby's sleep and allows check in. Its alert system for cries, etc is helpful - and it keeps track of duration of nap/when baby was last attended to.
