I appreciated that I was able to view my child and it gave me peace of mind while letting my baby sleep. I was not able to use this all of time as my baby ended up not only sleeping in his crib and then I had some issues with the camera as well. It often disconnected and then was picking up movement when there was none, causing multiple notifications. Overall it was a good basic tool but I did not end up using any of the additional or cool features included in the first year membership.

It’s great. I just wish there was a way to bulk save videos. Instead of saving each clip individually, at least let us save the entire day at once.

Great product that delivers the peace of mind every parent yearns for. For the price point, it would make sense to include a screen monitor so that a separate device (phone, tablet) are not necessary.

The Nanit Pro offers excellent

The Nanit Pro offers excellent peace of mind thanks to its reliable real-time alerts and the ability to monitor the feed across multiple devices simultaneously. The camera quality is solid, and the travel case is a great addition for staying organized on the go. We’ve found a lot of success using the floor stand in the nursery while keeping a secondary setup in our room using the flex stand attached to a small folding tripod. The sleep sacks with built-in breathing bands are a standout feature, providing a level of security that we really appreciate in a smart monitor.
However, the system has some notable drawbacks, particularly regarding its heavy reliance on WiFi, which makes it difficult to use in hotels or areas with limited connectivity. The price point is high, especially considering the separate monitor screen doesn’t hold a charge well and you have to purchase multiple bands as your child grows. A significant nightly frustration is the software workflow; if you remove the baby from the crib for a middle-of-the-night feeding, you have to remember to manually resync the breathing band monitoring. When you’re exhausted at 3:00 AM, it is incredibly easy to forget that extra step, which can be a real hassle.

Overall the Nanit camera has

Overall the Nanit camera has been great, and the app is easy to use. The only issue we have is with the monitor itself. Battery life is not very good and sound output is not very loud.
