I truly don’t know what would’ve done without the nanit! It’s the best thing ever and I always recommend it to any of my friends who are having a baby! I love it so much!!
Definitely love nanit even though it’s pricey, it’s worth it. The breathing band helps give parents a peace of mind at night. I don’t like how you have to pay for the insights but it is what it is. We bought a 2nd nanit for our 2nd born as well.
The product itself is fine although I find that the notifications of movement and sound are spotty and inconsistent. My biggest problem is that for the cost of this monitor, it's frustrating how expensive it is to have access to past video content. I've found that a simple Ring camera actually does the trick and charges much less for me to review my child's sleepless nights. . .
I had originally purchased this in anticipation of my new baby being due 10/2025. Unfortunately my baby was stillborn at 37 weeks. I ended up moving the camera to my toddlers room and replacing her old set up. The camera is very sleek and modern looking which I enjoy. We just have an iPad in our bedroom that is plugged in so the monitor is always running. I will say one issue I have is that there is a random disruption of connection every so often which causes the noise to cut out occasionally. This is a small nuance but since she has a sound machine on all night, the cut out of the noise actually prevents me from falling asleep sometimes. I have also had a few rare occasions where I am not hearing the monitor at all, so I go to open the app on my iPad and for some reason the camera isn’t connected anymore. Since we never use this iPad for anything else I am not sure how it gets disconnected like this. A little nerve wracking not knowing how long the connection was lost since my daughter’s room is completely on the other side of the home and we cannot hear her without the camera on. If we have the blessing to conceive again, I would definitely order another.
I really love having a monitor apart from my phone!! I’ve been hoping for this for years and now that I have a 2 year old and 3 month old it’s game changer. Battery could last longer and the feed sometimes lags on the monitor and not my phone. Definitely some things to work out but overall just glad to have the option of phone and monitor!
