We’re so glad we chose Nanit over other cameras! It’s incredibly easy to use, and the video quality is amazing. We’re especially happy we went with the stand instead of the wall mount, it’s convenient to move around the house, and it’s perfect for packing up and taking on vacation.

I’ve been using the Nanit Pro for several months, and overall, it’s one of the smartest baby monitors on the market. The video quality is fantastic—crisp during the day and clear at night. The bird’s-eye view is perfect for seeing the whole crib, and I love that I can check in from anywhere using the app. The sleep analytics and daily summaries are a game changer for tracking patterns and helping with sleep training. The breathing wear option adds extra peace of mind.
That said, there are a few downsides to be aware of. First, the monitor relies entirely on Wi-Fi, so if your connection drops, the feed does too—which can be nerve-wracking when you just want to check on your baby. Second, while you get a year of “Insights” for free, after that you’ll need to pay a subscription to keep most of the tracking features and video history. Without it, you basically have an expensive video monitor. Finally, the app can sometimes lag or freeze, especially when switching networks or using cellular data.
Overall, if you love tech, want sleep data, and have solid Wi-Fi, this is a great choice. If you prefer something simple and subscription-free, you might want to consider a more traditional monitor.
