LOVE this screen. Only downside

LOVE this screen. Only downside is battery life. It almost has to constantly stay plugged in. Also, for some reason the brightness on our display is always lowering itself randomly so we have to manually go in and fix it. No biggie though. Highly recommend!

I was so excited for this camera, saved up for months. It doesn’t track her sleep right at all, says she’s awake when she’s not and goes back to sleep when she’s been asleep. It will say she was put down asleep when she’s put down awake. It messes with the overall insights and you can’t even change it. The only thing i love is the breathing monitor feature, it gives me a ton of peace of mind.

I think overall the Nanit works extremely well, and we've appreciated being able to keep such a close eye on our kiddo. I have two notes: one is that sometimes the "I fell asleep" or "I woke up" isn't as reliable as we'd hoped. And two is that the infrared lights are bright at night when kiddo is trying to sleep. I do think he sees them because how else is he staring right into the camera in the pitch black; I think it may distract him from sleeping sometimes.

Nanit makes an amazing product

Nanit makes an amazing product overall. The camera quality, features, and design are all impressive, and I genuinely like the system itself. I have the Home Display, the Travel Bundle, the Pro Smart Baby Monitor, and the Wall Mount, so I’ve invested quite a bit into the Nanit setup because I believed in the product.
That said, the subscription model really does not make sense to me. What was disappointing is that I did not realize a separate subscription is needed for each camera, or that even with a dedicated display, a subscription is still required for full functionality. For a premium-priced product line, that feels excessive and not very transparent upfront.
When you are already purchasing multiple Nanit products and accessories, it would make much more sense for the company to offer a more flexible or bundled subscription option, especially for loyal customers who are fully invested in the ecosystem. The hardware is excellent, but the ongoing subscription structure takes away from what would otherwise be a great experience.
