Love our Nanit!

Absolutely love it!! I love having the ability to check in on my kids anywhere right from my phone. The ONLY reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the notification sound is too quiet and the app doesn’t give the option to pick a different sound. If one of my kids starts crying, I usually hear them vs. the app waking me up or getting my attention. It is also annoying that you have to have a subscription to watch videos back at all but I still would not pick another camera. The quality is great and the ability to split screen with 2 kids is AWESOME

Peace of Mind For First Time Mom

We love our Nanit camera and breathing band. Picture quality is amazing and the alerts are always accurate, not to mention the breathing band. Together this camera system has given me peace of mind as a first time mom. One of best purchases!

Fine then Terrible

I can’t begin to describe my frustration with Nanit - it was great for about a week. The buffering then became unbearable, then it stopped working when I minimized the app, and now - 9 months in - it only works maybe 40% of the time at all. It just buffers and still doesn't allow me to listen when the apps minimized. I’ve spent hours on the internet trying to figure out a fix, submitted a ticket to Nanit, and if you do some digging online, you’ll realize the inability to use Nanit when the app is minimized is a very common problem, and Nanit has been useless for every single person that’s experienced this problem. I quite literally have never seen a single user who said the issue was resolved. So you pay a premium for a terrible product. It BLOWS MY MIND that Nanit has any good reviews. Note to all reading this - don’t get it and don’t put it on your baby register. It is a terrible product.

I really enjoy using the nanit camera I was hesitant if I needed this one or a cheaper option but I am glad I bought the nanit camera because of the insights and the notifications and all it saves. Will definitely recommend to new parents it gives peace of mind for sure!

I have my settings up

I have my settings up the highest they can go and still it doesn’t alert me when my baby is awake. He doesn’t cry usually when he wakes but he moves back and forth and kicks his feet and still no alert. When I open the app it’ll say baby has been awake for 20 minutes. If you know the baby is awake why am I not getting an alert?

Overall, this is a great monitor. I think you should be able to manually edit when the baby falls asleep when it is hooked up to the mounted stand. If you put the baby in the crib while sleep. It will take 30 mins to register the baby is sleep before it starts tracking as sleep.

Got this when we transitioned

Got this when we transitioned our daughter out of a crib and into her own bed. I do like the monitor we got with it and the ease of set up but the night vision is a bit grainy in comparison to the one we used to have built in to her crib. So far it’s nice just was a bit of a transition to a more grainy night vision camera
