Integrates Well with Amazon Account, Simple Set Up

This tablet falls somewhere in the realm between a phone and the larger tablets that are often 3-4 times more expensive. The tablet itself is light weight, but still feels well made. The screen is a perfect size to prop up on the countertop to watch movies while you bake or have your hands full.
The biggest thing this is lacking is the app ecosystem that you see with the other two main operating systems for mobile devices. This has the main apps we often use (browsing the internet, Netflix, etc.), but it doesn't have the same selection of the more niche apps. I feel this is a good value, but it's features will not blow your socks off. The sound sounds like it's coming from small speakers. The screen resolution is plenty adequate for streaming movies and browsing the web, but it's not some ultra-HD screen that you'll marvel at. This is a well put together tablet for a good price point. It is leagues better than the no name tablets currently flooding the marketplace, is a great size that offers ytou more screen real estate than a phone but takes us less space than a full sized tablet. However, it still comes up a bit short if you're comparing it to the fruit brand mega weight that's been ruling this category of devices for years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amazon Fire HD 8 plus tablet is everything you’d expect from an fire tablet high quality, great size, easy to use and set up this is my 3rd amazon tablet and for the price point it can’t be beat it’s very durable and has lasted longer than the Apple iPads that seem to easily break. I really like how fast and smooth the tablet preforms I highly recommend someone who is looking for quality tablet to check out the amazon fire tablets.

Features like wireless charging, a 9W power adapter, 3 GB RAM, 2 MP front-facing & 5 MP rear-facing cameras. New design of the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus tablet is thinner & lighter than previous gen & has a 8" screen made with strengthened aluminosilicate glass. As measured in tumble tests, The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus tablet is very durable, easy to use & set up, & I really enjoy using the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus tablet very much. I would the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus tablet to others.

I do love this especially if I'm out and about. This does most everything my PC does and is very easy to operate. The power and volume buttons are on the top and easy to use. The more I play around with this the more I like it.

Truly a FIRE Tablet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just to preface, I mostly use this as a comic reader and tablet than just a book e-reader. But, oh brother, does this excel at what it does. It's fast and reactive, even with only a 60 Hz refresh rate, the processor holds it's own and makes doing activities a breeze. I'm not *huge* on the wireless charging if only because most wireless chargers are designed with phones in mind and not tablets. It's a little large and awkward for most wireless chargers. This isn't a negative thing (it certainly is nice to have), I just don't see myself using the wireless charging feature a ton. Obviously the Plus has 1 GB more of RAM which is also a nice to have - especially if you have a lot going on on your tablet. Externally, the back of the tablet has a nice texture for gripping and the overall display looks great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tablet to anyone in the market for one!

It's durable, the screen is nice and big and the battery life is impressive. We play lots of games on it and no lagging it runs smoothly. Dosnt take forever to charge either.

Great little tablet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect hand held tablet. I put all my kindle books on it, so it is great to use as both a kindle and for internet browsing. I do wish it had more gigabytes. I’m afraid I will run out of room on it eventually.
