[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus tablet (2022 model) builds on the successes of this product line with a nice boost to several critical specifications. I immediately noticed significant speed gains over my Fire HDX and the battery life is simply incredible. I really appreciate that the refinements the 8 Plus brings do not require learning a new system, so Fire and Kindle users will be able to pick up where their prior device left off without missing a step. Setup is extremely simple and I was up and running within only a few minutes. I find the size to be perfect – at eight inches this is not an unnecessarily giant screen but the device is highly portable, rugged, and boasts wonderful battery life. The app ecosystem is not as inflated as competitors, however I am always able to find the apps that I need for functional use, as well as a plethora of entertainment options. Overall this is the ideal device for entertainment (reading ebooks and watching movies/tv) to accompany your cell phone, and is far more nimble than toting around a large tablet. I’m impressed with this device and expect that it will last me a long time of use!

Perfect tablet for children!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the functionality of the fire tablet for my two little boys. It’s so cool I was able to set up a profile for each of my sons so they each have content that is automatically filtered based on their ages.
The initial set up was a breeze and I had it all set up how I wanted in a matter of 15 minutes.
I also really love the wireless charging capability. Instead of having children trying to figure out a power cord, they can just plop this tablet onto our wireless charging pad when they’re done watching shows.
I’m also impressed with how fast this tablet is. We have an iPad and I was hoping this tablet would be comparable and it definitely is. Everything you could need for a children’s tablet, or even an adult!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tablet! The graphics quality is super hi-rez. I use it mostly for streaming. The Kindle was super easy to set up and use. I also really like the tactile and grippy texture on the back. The battery lasts a long time. I also love that I can add extended storage with a micro sd card.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been searching for a good streaming tablet that would be portable and that I could easily take everywhere with me and the new Amazon Fire HD8 Plus was exactly what I needed.
The tablet is nicely made, super thin but sturdy. When it comes to performance, that thing is very fast and thanks to the 3GB of RAM, everything is very smooth. The picture is stunning and watching movies on the device is a pleasure. The fact that the battery last over 10 hours is awesome as I can watch movies on a long flight without having to plug it into a power bank.
The interface is very friendly and I was able to load all my streaming apps easily into the Fire tablet.
With all that being said, I am pleased with my new tablet and will give it a solid 5 stars.
I would recommend this to a friend!
