In order to use the item I PURCHASED OUTRIGHT, I have to jump through hoops and "activate" it. That is nanny state at its best. Who is Cricut to restrict how and when I can use something I PURCHASED????
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you so much for the feedback! We do require activation of the product to ensure the latest firmware is up to date, as well as link the serial number to your account, for warranty purposes. From here, your machine will not need to be paired to the computer at all when you use it. Works well and was rather easy to set up. However, I really wish there were a paper manual… I know, I’m probably among the minority who wants paper be digital, but mine kept clicking off after each press and I was never able to figure out why. I wish I’d had a manual for troubleshooting. Chalked it up to a safety feature. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my purchase!

Fast service. However, it is so heavy that I can't lift it up to the table. Have to wait for someone to help. And even with a friend, it is too heavy. I'm sorry I bought it but something that heavy is impossible to return.

Does the job well, every time. Is a game changer for me since I make lots of t shirts. Even venture doing a complicated layer htv design and was flawless. Also much faster then using the easy press and I don’t get all the heat on me and don’t need to use all the force.
