I love all the features of this Cricut Autopress! Safety is a huge priority for me since my children are always crafting with me: The machine itself stays cool and the heat is where it needs to be (unlike my other big, bulky heat press where the entire thing gets hot to the touch!). The auto open feature is helpful so I don't have to stand over it, the presets are great. The self adjusting close feature is a life saver for me because I have a shoulder injury that flares up very easily- my other press was constantly throwing it out from clamping it down and pulling hard to open to up). I have used it for ceramic coasters with infusible ink, sublimation print shirts, infusible ink on shirts, screen print transfers on shirts, direct to film transfers... The simple \"done beep\" / auto open is nice, as my other heat press gives out a shrill, quick repeat beep that makes me frantic! Setup was a breeze and I love how it stores away if I need to have more space. Also looks nice! All these extras are a wonderful addition to my craft room. Overall I highly recommend this Cricut Autopress.

Initially my new autopress was not right, and would not work, but within a week it was exchanged for a new one. Night and day... it is perfect. Love it. Easy set, easy to operate and made a nice clean sharp image on first use.

I have used other Cricut presses. They all work well, but I love the automation of this one.
I will start with a caveat- it’s big & it’s heavy. Ideally one would want a spot where it can be kept out all the time. If you don’t have that (I don’t) think about where to store it & how to move it around. I bought a luggage dolly for it.
Now for the good stuff. It is really easy to read and set the controls, which are on a separate unit, connected to the press by a USB cable. The pressure will be even and consistent, which is harder to achieve with a handheld press.
When it is done, the lid will pop open. So, don’t stand too close; to state the obvious, it will be hot. I like the way it opens, because that gives it exposure to the air, so it can cool off.
I have gotten great results with some heat-transfer vinyl and infusible ink sheets. With the handheld presses I got much less satisfying results with the infusibles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love how easy this was to set up and use. I was thinking of an easy press but decided to buy the Autopress and I DO NOT REGRET that decision. I used infusible ink pens and a Cricut t-shirt for the first "test" project. Loved how it came out. Highly recommended for a beginner like myself or an experienced user!

I already own one and bought another over prime days. It is the EASIEST press to use! I love it. I purchased a commercial one before I bought the autopress but it required me to apply pressure on some things and I have rheumatoid arthritis and can't do that with my hands. I returned the commerciaI one. I was so sad I wouldn't be able to sublimate things, but then the autopress came out and I was so happy after watching the video. It has been a dream to work with!

New press used for FreeStanding lace applique !

I use this to fuse stabilizer on to the back of fabric for FreeStanding lace (appliqué) embroidery, then I cut my fabric shapes out using the cricut. This is a game changer ! ! ! It took me so long to get all my fabric ready for embroidery when I only had an iron to fuse the stabilizer but with the press if takes minutes! I cut my fabric and stabilizer 12" X 24" and it take 3 presses and I'm done! The best part is the stabilizer fuses to the fabric so much better and I don't have the separating problems I used to have when i used an iron!
