The Cricut Autopress is awesome. It is very user friendly. One of the features that I really enjoy is that it is automatic. You can continue working on your projects while you have a project being pressed. It is very easy to close . I have only had mine for a few weeks and have only used the HTV on cotton. I am so looking forward to using HTV and the Autopress on wood.
My autopress had scratches all over the top of it. When I contacted cricut about the scratches they basically said oh well and gave me a 10% off coupon for one future purchase. I paid full price for this autopress and it looks used. Not happy at all. This item is way too expensive to already have it looked used and abused.

As much as I wanted to love this press, it is not for professional use. It is still a single, every now and then press. It is difficult to work with. You have to get up under the heat to make any adjustments. And a full size shirt doesn't fit correctly if you are inserting from the front. I wish they had made this with a platen that would allow a shirt to slide over it. That would solve many problems. Hate to do it but I will be returning mine.
2nd replacement and won't turn on still. Multiple resets and nothing has worked. Plan on returning and hopefully getting fully refunded.

I can’t get it to set up at all! I know you have to plug it in to an actual wall outlet, but apparently I have to plug the usb into a real usb port in my laptop? Problem is, I have a Mac and there isn’t a usb port. I have to use an adapter, and it will not work. So I have an expensive machine that won’t work. I’m upset.

Hi Danel, we are sorry you are having this issue! Please feel free to reach out to us at cricut.com/contact if you need assistance.
My husband gave me the Autopress as an early Christmas gift and I made shirts for all my granddaughters and my daughter and me. I just love it. It’s easy to use and you feel like a professional.
Partly satisfied. I have been able to use the autopress to sublimate. The temperature that is set on the control is not the actual temperature of the press. I checked the temperature with an infrared thermometer, and rechecked it with a new infrared thermometer. The actual temperature was lower by 60 to 110 degrees than indicated. The room where I was working was 70 degrees. I waited longer to see if the temperature would rise but it did not. I did go ahead and use it to sublimate onto a tee and the image transferred, however I'm not sure if there will be any future problems with the transfer. So I am using the autopress, but not totally satisfied. It is easy to use.
