Nostalgia in a box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nostalgic look to this Barbie is on point! Our favorite part is all her matching accesories- especially her big bright earrings and leg warmers. My kids loved her posability and how "fun" of a Barbie she is. I did have to explain what the cassette tape stand actually was - which was just funny and a great moment in parenthood for myself being an 80's/90's child.

Wonderful doll of the eighties !

I just received today my example of this beautiful teenage Barbie. All is great, from the box which reminds of a VHS tape, to the accessories. With a little care, you can take of all the elements without destroying the cardboard, because the pieces of plastic is not glued to the cardboard.
The clothes are of very good quality, very surprising for a price not so high (in comparison with the Barbie style dolls which cost 100$ each). The haibrush is exactly the same as the model inside the boxes of the eighties/nineties. Take care of the little pencil : it can be lost easily !
The knees are « clicky », and the arms are articulated at shoulders, elbows ans wrists.
Good job, Mattel !

Nostalgic but not interesting for kids today

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is the picture of the 80s. It would make a great gift for an adult who is nostalgic about that decade. However, the doll and accessories did not hold my six year old daughter’s interest for very long.
