Doesn't worth the money!

Hey mattel! What's happened to you? I purchased this barbie because I was so excited about her as adult collector and I was so happy to add her to my collection since she's an 80's babe and she has my most favourite face mold, the Steffie one, but when I got her I was disappointed with the low and poor quality that there wasn't on the previoud wave of the Rewinds and with things that there shouldn't be on NIB collectible items for adults! She came with a defective joint on her elbow that I needed to fix myself, and the plastic used for her arms seems made with a much poorere quality compared to the other Rewind dolls. Plus her hair doesn't looks so gorgeous and bright as it seems on the promo pics, and her earrings comes in a different color then the artworks on her box. Last but not least I was unboxing the barbie with my lil niece so to show her how collectible barbies are and after 5 minutes she was holding the glasses got broken. Oh and her naked arms looks quite terrible, seems the ones of Monster Hights, but these are supposed to be barbies not Monster Hights!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hello 80s!! I think I may love this Barbie more than my daughter!! The packaging is amazing , love that it resembles a VHS movie , super cute.
She is 80s from her hair to her shoes. I love that she has feathered bangs & crimped hair. Her outfit is adorable with coordinating leg warmers. My daughter loves her heart shaped backpack and the accessories that coordinate perfectly with school days in this decade. She has stored all the accessories minus the computer and brush in it. Her arms are posable and comes with a cute stand that resembles a cassette tape. My daughter has been playing with her since she arrived.
Very impressed with quality and every detail about this Barbie , she looks like she just stepped out of one of my favorite 80s tv shows.

Even cuter than i expected!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is even cuter than i expected!! She clearly is an homage to Barbie and The Rockers when they went back to the 1950s. There really isnt anything about her that i didnt like. This Rewind line in general is an amazing dose of nostalgia fot the adult collector, while still being fun and desireable for children. I love that her backpack is both functional and cute. Her laptop can actually fit inside. And she can really wear it, making it great for play. The 80s Midge face sculpt complete with freckles is so pretty. Im really happy with her and cant wait to see which other Rewind Dolls they do bext

Rewind Barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a child of the 80s, i thought Barbie was amazing. She hits all the right buttons from the leg warmers to the cassette tape stand. Begrudgingly I shared her with my daughters who were quickly enamoured as well. They immediately set her up at one of their Barbie desks so she would be ready for school. She's a great addition to their collection.
