This half inch curling iron is built solid, heats quickly, and distributes heat very evenly. It leaves my hair shiny and healthy. I use it as a root lifter because I have thick heavy strands of very straight hair. I clip my hair at the roots on the crown region to give a small root boost. I also use it as a hair straightener. The coating allows my thick black strands to glide easily through to solve bedhead issues. I glide the iron from the roots to combat unwanted bends and curves. This iron is very versatile and can be used for various purposes. I’ve even used it to curl my hair on special occasions. I highly recommend this iron. I tried to save money and got a cheaper half inch iron prior to purchasing this one, but it did not measure up to this one at all. This one is worth the investment.
