Hello worked until it didn’t

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to start with the positives. This is the only Drop In range that I was able to find. It fits into our spot perfectly. The only thing that would make it better is if it were a downdraft as well. I am really holding out hope for this range. I bought the same range in 2021 and the control board shorted out and caused a fire. I’m really hoping it was just a one time incident and that this appliance works beautifully. Until the time of the fire, the range and oven did everything I needed it to do. There is lots of room in the oven and it will hold more than one casserole dish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had the range for a month but this is my opinion. Pros: I like the the way it heat up quickly on the Power Boil option. The fact it had lips to go over the cabinet top preventing crumbs from dropping between range and cabinet was the buying factor.
Cons: The cover of the Oven controls appears to be a cheap plastic. That was a disappointment.
I am looking forward to several years of cooking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the newer version of the range that was installed in the house when it was built. I am very pleased with the product. However, I am a little disappointed that the range is so difficult to clean. The surface of the stovetop feels greasy after cleaning. I have to clean it several times before it looks shiny and new. My older range was shiny and bright with a good warm water wipe followed by a microfiber cloth dry wiping. The burners work well, and the oven works fine. I purchased a new range because the older one (2005) started smelling like something was smoking each time I used the oven, even after several cleanings. I had to purchase protectors to keep the knobs from turning the stove on when I reach in the cabinet over the range. Luckily, I have noticed it before it became a problem. I look forward to many years of use, hopefully as long as the previous range.

Was bummed we moved into our new home and the oven didnt work. The only option we had was this drop in from GE. The price was a on the high side but it works great. Heats up fast.
