Nice stove. Not fond of the glass to but thats all I could get in a drop in other than that everything works great.. would have given a 5 but screws were missing on the right side of the oven door

Stove worked great the day it was installed. Two days later, oven and clock stopped working. Had to wait a week for repair folks to come and look at it. They said a wire was off. I guess they just don't make things like they used to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven works great. The cooktop takes some getting used to. I assume since it's ceramic it doesn't heat like the old cooktop, it cycles. Would have given it 5 stars but the hot cooktop light now stays on only two weeks after installation. Guess we will see how good the warranty is. My biggest complaint is since drop in's aren't popular the options are fewer. Thank goodness GE still makes them, nobody else does.

One issue I have observed is that when you open the oven door, to remove whatever you have been baking, there is a rush of hot air and steam that comes out and blasts you in the face. You need to remember to stand to the side whenever you open the door and the oven is hot.
Also, even though we are careful when we cook on it and when we clean it, the top is already becomming etched and pitted.

It’s About Time

After 29 years we finally got around to replacing our old stove after watching it give out a little at a time until fixes became useless. We chose GE for its looks, features, and ease of use.

I love my new range oven! My old unit was 27 years old. Hope this one lasts that long! It certainly is a luxury model with choice of small burner large burner on one element. So love the timer and oven operation choices!
