One issue I have observed is that when you open the oven door, to remove whatever you have been baking, there is a rush of hot air and steam that comes out and blasts you in the face. You need to remember to stand to the side whenever you open the door and the oven is hot. Also, even though we are careful when we cook on it and when we clean it, the top is already becomming etched and pitted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
