Replaced an identical drop-in (except for the old one had coils instead of a glass top) we had nursed along for 24 years--with a few minor changes. Please rethink your decision to discontinue drop-ins!!! Everything is wonderful--my main concern is trying to keep cats (who aren't allowed on the countertops, right?) from burning their paws on glass top--which is why we got coils on the original one. The drop-in gives such a clean, custom-installed look--and goes perfectly with the GE Microwave/exhaust hood above it.
This drop-in range was installed as a replacement for an old Maytag unit. It was a nearly perfect fit requiring only minor adjustments to install. It's a sleek looking and very functional range. I look forward to many years of great cooking with this range.
Cooking with induction took some updated of my cookware and some of my cooking methods. Our oven came with no instructions or Manual at all. I known everything is now online, but I prefer a hard copy manual.
