This is our second dual boiler. It has some different features I am still adjusting to. Great solid machine like all of the Breville products. I know, I own nine of them. Makes a great cappuccino with ease. Just have to adjust grinds correctly for each coffee.
This is my second Breville Dual Boiler. The first one lasted 7 years. I made 4 lattes (religiously) everyday, so by my math, that's 10,200 shots! Went back to Breville twice for repairs, but all in all, a great investment. The new Dual Boiler has all the same features I came to love: steaming wand on the right side; water tank access from the front, easy cleaning and descaling, and a sleek, SS design. With the burr grinder dialed in to the right setting, this machine makes great shots, and the milk frothing is easily and repeatable (FYI: I chill my frothing pitcher in the fridge for a few minutes so the milk AND the pitcher are cold.) This is an excellent, reliable machine for anyone looking to take their passion for lattes to the next level.
Love the machine! This is my second Dual Boiler. The first one, which I bought in January, had a problem with a leaking hot water spout when pulling a shot. Breville repaired it in March but the problem returned. In July, they replaced the old machine with a brand new one. I’m very happy with their customer service. The new machine works great.
Great machine. I'm upgrading the Infuser, and while that's great, too, the Dual Boiler addresses all the gripes I had with the Infuser. It's very consistent from shot to shot (temp stability mostly), and I really appreciate the extra steam power. Standard portafilter size is very nice, too.
