Orders cancelled for false reasons

I placed my order online on 12.26 and received a cancellation email on 12.31, giving the reason "our system detected a possible security verification issue", but I confirmed with my bank that my bank there are no payment restrictions. Now the price has been restored to the original price. What a disappointment! I guess I can empty my cart now.

Breville Barista Pro — Sea Salt

I recently bought this machine and I have been loving it so far! It takes getting used to and it requires patience when trying to dial in your beans and pull consistent shots but it’s so much fun to work with. It makes delicious espresso and can create beautifully textured steamed milk. I’m by no means a barista, but I have been really enjoying having everything I need to create espresso drinks at home. I love the sea salt colour, it’s such a sleek frosted white colour that looks very modern.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Big fan of their products. Easy to use and good build quality. Wish they were a bit cheaper but I guess one gets what they pay for. Hopefully the machine will hold up well but so far, so good.

Difficult to use

It's difficult to use and to get a hot espresso with foam.
I used to use fully auto espresso machines for a long time and I was very satisfied with all of them, but this one is very far to get a cup of espresso like what I was getting before from the other machines.

Inconsistent then it broke

For a $1000 machine this is terribly inconsistent. You’ll love it if you don’t care how your coffee tastes because it will look great on your countertop, but if you enjoy and understand how to make and what makes good consistent coffee stay away from this machine.
On the finest setting the grinder ALMOST gets the beans fine enough to pull a good shot of espresso. But then when it comes time to brew the timing and cream varies from each pour. For instance, I generally have two double shot espressos every morning and aim for each shot to be about 26 seconds…my first pour might be a 26ish, but then the next pour could range anywhere between 17 and 21 with barely any cream - same fineness of grind and grind time and same tamping technique - completely different results!!

The steam wand usually gents my milk up to a temperature of 140 degrees….MAYBE 150 if I’m lucky. But are a far from the ideal 160-170 to bring out the natural sweetness in milk.
This morning I went to froth my milk and the wand simply didn’t work…tried cleaning out the hole and descaling, still nothing. I heard some subtle strange noises coming from it the last couple of days so I should have seen it coming. I bought this machine almost exactly a year ago from bestbuy around Black Friday but, silly me, I didn’t get a receipt emailed to check my warranty. So it’s probably just going to get trashed…even if I could fix it it probably wouldn’t last long.
Generally I think Breville makes good quality products - with this machine they prioritized form over function with the cool LCD display. I would stay away from it (I would actually stay away from any machine with the built in grinder because the grinders are limited in coarsenes
I used to have the Breville Infuser paired with the dose control pro grinder, and that was amazing. It broke after 8 years (which should last a lifetime at the price but still had a good run). Unfortunately they discontinued the infuser…but you can still find it on Amazon, and that’s where I’m going to now to order it.

Beeville Expresso Machine

Purchased as a birthday gift for my wife. Created a lot of brownie points and the machine make excellent coffee. Pricey, but well worth the money if you're a coffee afficianado.

It is a really good and sturdy machine. There’s a learning curve and you need to learn and buy few more accessoried to have the perfect coffee. A couple Youtube videos will help and you won’t regret it.
