Disappointing

I bought this machine about a month ago to replace a Creatista Plus after watching many videos about it's operation. One of the biggest selling points for me was the machine's ability to brew coffee and froth milk at the same time.
Beware and watch for the fine print that I missed. The processes are simultaneous only in countries with 220 volt electrical supply, which is not the case in the US. Nespresso needs to do a better job of relaying this information.

Options, options, options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the Breville Nespresso creatista pro gives you endless options. You can make a cafe latte, ristretto, espresso, lungo, americano, flat white, cappuccino, or macchiato. If that's not enough, you can dispense piping hot water by pressing the button on the top right-hand side to make yourself tea, or scroll down to the "milk only" option and whip up some steamed milk for a matcha latte. From the touchscreen, you can even customize the temperature of your milk, or drink individually. There's also options to select the amount of froth, and how many ounces of espresso you'd like the machine to dispense. 
Some other helpful tidbits: The milk steaming wand is self-cleaning, and will squirt out water into the drip tray (clean and dump the tray as needed).
The machine releases the used capsules into a storage drawer, until you're ready to dispose of them. 
If the top of the machine won't close, make sure the capsule is pushed in fully, using your index finger. The machine will not close, or dispense, until it is. 
Also, If you set your water hardness, the machine will tell you how often to descale it, to ensure that you get the best tasting beverage. 
This is a wonderful machine, and it doesn't take up a lot of counter space.

Overall great, overpriced, but it broke.

I like this machine and use it every day. However, after about 1.5 years it just started leaking a lot of water all over the counter every time we made a cup of coffee. It was still under warranty but I have to now ship the entire machine back for repairs and the process could take a couple of weeks, more or less (I am told). I close friend has the same machine and her steam wand stopped working after about 6 months as well. So I am questioning the quality of these machines.

Almost Perfect

I reviewed most of the reviewers here and I agree with all. Well, it is advertised that the machine will make coffee (espresso) and froth milk simultaneously and there is even a video on this here on Nespresso site; however, it is not the case. Although it has two heating elements, it doesn’t do those two function simultaneously and from other websites I read, it has something to do with the Voltage. Just something t o keep in mind. Other than that, it is a great espresso/milk coffee maker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned and used Keurig machines and a much smaller Nespresso machine prior to this, and neither can hold a candle to the Creatista Pro. Makes sense—the Pro certainly cost way more than any other "capsule" coffee maker I've ever used. I found that with Nespresso-made capsules, the coffee was surprisingly quite tasty, even black (as an Americano), especially compared to other brands, so after a few experiments, I stuck with Nespresso capsules. The milk frother works well, but the guide doesn't help much with determine the proper amount of milk to use, so I ended up having to experiment a bit with that. The touchscreen seems a bit superfluous at first, but I found it to be super helpful with the maintenance and daily cleaning tasks. It also made me more confident to ask others to clean the machine as it walks through everything step-by-step (rather than asking them to read a manual).

I bought this machine two months ago, and honestly, it’s been a big pain. I have to descale it constantly. this machine thinks I have nothing better to do with my life. sometimes I descale it once, follow all the instructions, and it STILL tells me to descale it again. What more do you want from me?? im a caffeine-dependent adult and cannot start my day until i’ve had atleast 4 cups.
yes, it makes excellent coffee but its not worth the hassle. Descaling takes about 15 minutes. which to a coffee-deprived mom feels like a century. Every morning I wake up with dreams of sipping a warm cup of coffee with my, sweet French vanilla creamer. But instead of that vision, I walk over to my very expensive machine and i see the “descale” message like it’s some kind of betrayal.
I am a busy woman. I have things to do, places to be, and people to ignore until I’ve had my caffeine. If I don’t get my coffee, I get in a very bad mood and want to fight everyone (just kidding… mostly). Coffee is life. Without it, I don’t feel like a functioning human being.
Like I said earlier, the coffee is great, but to me, it’s not worth the hassle. Next time I have to descale it, I am going to throw it in the trash because that’s exactly what this machine is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful machine. Defective product

I had two of these machines over a five month period. Both needed descaling - a long, laborious project - every several days after the second month. I’m done.

Waste of money!

I regret buying this machine so much. I have not even had it a year, use filtered water in it and only make one cup per day yet it wants me to descale it often (probably because Nespresso wants to keep selling descaling kits). Same with the steaming wand, and cleaning makes such a mess. I’ve had to descale it three times already.
I miss my old simple nespresso machine which I had for many years and a separate milk frother. Sometimes simple is just better. Unfortunately I wasted my money on this overpriced machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
